Something called morals and law. People who are viewing these do not hurt anyone, or destroy anything. They know, however, if they act on in in a different way, they will hurt others and destroy lives. So they don't do these things, because they are still good people, although with an odd paraphilia.

It's easier to call someone a pedo if the only porn they look at is Lolicon, but if it's no more appealing as pornographic material to a said person than any other genre of porn, he or she shouldn't be branded a pedophile so quickly.

I support the idea that it isn't harmful, though. It's considered bad when someone discriminates against another race/orientation, but nobody can force you to love everything. A person called "racist" was likely called so because of a recent act of intolerance.

The problem with what you're saying is that Child Pronography is illegal because it harms the child being exploited. It is not illegal because some find it morally wrong.

There are also a lot of people not understanding that being a pedophile means that underaged girls is something that turns you on. It does NOT limit you to this nor does it necessairly mean that you rape little girls, or make any sexual advances what so ever. It is important to understand that there are a lot of closet pedophiles out there (No, I'm not one of them. I do however enjoy teenage girls, which is again, not the same thing. Please view wikipedia) and the vast majority never act on their secret desires because they have respect for others.

So what it all boils down to is that lolicon should and could not be concidered illegal for the same reasons that actual child pronography is. It isn't. If you want to legislate against lolicon it would have to be on some other grounds, ie. that it is illegal to be a pedophile. But if you're going to go there you should just ban everything except straight up heterosexuality.
