It's not the act, it's the fact that the participants are underage, and mentally underdeveloped. Is it bad to play violent video games? No. Is it bad to watch pr0n? No. Is it bad to play video games in where young children are being harmed? Yes. The ESRB, Bethesda Game Studios, and Rockstar studios seem to agree. Is it bad to watch children pr0n or lolicon? Yes. (generally) Neither is actually immoral because neither is an actual act taking place. I would argue lolicon [I]is[/I] child pornography [I]child[/I] child pornography only in the sense that it is a pornography involving a child, but given that no one is really harmed, it shouldn't be viewed as nearly as badly (if at all) as child pornography is and should certainly not be illegal. I also feel that someone who enjoys lolicon is not a pedophile insofar as they would never have sex with an actual underage girl, or possibly, to avoid generalizing in the case of pedophile who can restrain themselves, do not find the idea of sex with an actual underage girl appealing.
