Really this is not a good idea. Cannabis needs to be legalized, but not with all this bullshit. Simply make it so anyone over 18 can buy or grow as much as they want, and sellers get a permit like a liquor license or something. People act like this is a step forward, but really it's not because it sets a precedent for needlessly strict controls when others states bring this up for a vote. If it's legalized, do it right cause it's a motherfucker to change.
Yeah, if this gets passed they will eventually amend it to what it should be, if it doesn't get passed do you really think they're going to pass an even more relaxed law?
To be honest, I don't see the problem with legalisation, because I would just create a perfect grow patch out in my garden, and leave it at that. I'd probably not buy any, and live my life like that

It's already partially legal...(Medical Marijuana, at least.) Like I said earlier, if this one isn't voted in, there'll DEFINITELY be another that will pop up in a year or so. This bill was just 1 of 3 choices...(And the other 2 were actually legal.)
I agree with the OP, I'd rather it remain controlled as it currently is than have it controlled as it would be 'legally'.
