They also tend to sleep in until 3:00 PM, then get upset that they missed class.

What we need is a cartoon show that teaches kids history through comedy and tragedy. But because of political correctness, nobody is going to make one. Or that people are just too lazy to make an animated cartoon about history

What annoys me is when people think that immigrant = illegal. Our school has had a rather big influx of Poles recently, and becuase a lot of the aren't able to speak english at first, almost the whole school hates them. Now, I understand that it is anoying when people are talking in another language and ou don't undertsand, and you get all paranoid. However, setting up a club called A.P.P.L.E (All Polish Pricks Leave England) takes it to another level. As if this huge amount of ignorance weren't enough, these people seem to think that they come to Britain just to steal jobs, and that they must be illegals because they live in a poore area of town. I explain to them that if you've just be run out of your country by war (this also happens with Muslims/Asians), or forced to leave your home by the economic crises, you won't have enough money for a beautiful 5 bedroom mansion. I then explain that Illegal Immegrants woldn't be able to get into our school on account of them having to present papers that they simply wouldn't have. All these points go straight over their heads and kill a goose. tl;dr Teenage punks get pissy about polish immgrants, despite the hot girls :smug::fh:

The majority of Polish kids aren't in any way bad kids it's just that because they can't yet speak English the teachers ignore them unless thay have a translator, then when they do learn English the teacher still labels them and they get put in lower classes with no chance to sucseed. Of course my school has to be full of ignorant pricks that don't understand this, and don't even realise that if not for the Polish Pilots who trekked all the way from Poland to get there the Battle Of Britain would have all but been lost. I'm not going to lie, some polish kid's aren't good but that's to be expected from every group.I can't stand those Poles who give us a bad name, those who settled here in the 50's after the war (The communist administration executed Foreign Legion troops for "Deserting the country at a time of need") worked hard to remove the tag of "Bloody foreigner", i don't want them destroying our reputation. I worked for the School for 2 years (06-08) as a translator without pay and then i get thanked by the community by constantly being mocked. In most "communist" countries today, like Soviet Russia, China e.t.c. the whole idea of a peaceful society where everyone have equal rights is ruined since the rulers have too much power and eventually get corrupted. Sweden uses a party system with several parties and a vote every 4 years, and we don't have one single man or woman who controls the whole party, decisions are democratically voted by an assembly. This prevents one single leader from being corrupt and turning the idea of a peaceful society into a corrupt third world state.

My class is pretty good at history, except the one who doesn't really know anything and thinks for example that Hiroshima and Nagasaki are somewhere in China.

When I was in middle school I was put in college level courses(a level below honors, I'm in honors level now) because I suck rat tits at math, and in history(which I'm actually friggin boss at), when I knew where Germany was on the map, and when I knew why Adolf Hitler was infamous, they thought I was a genius. It actually makes you feel kind of good about yourself, being the smartest kid in your class, until you realize that you aren't ridiculously smart, everyone around you is just really fucking stupid. Not trying to sound cocky but as of now, I'm probably one of the best informed students in my classes when it comes to politics and history. That doesn't necessarily mean I know more than most of the people on this website though.

I think we censor a little too much nowadays. Now I'm all for keeping children innocent and sweet, I mean, I'm a little pissed that I was exposed to porn so early. But most of the tragedies that occured during my childhood I didn't even HEAR about until I was in late Elementary school.
