Factually? I said that diabetes is worse than aids and cancer. I can say this because aids is less treatable and beats diabetes in mortality rate easily.

If your going to take conclusion about desease's gravity, you must take all possibilities, side-effects and psycologic effects, and, with the experience I have, I could say diabetes is as harmful/horrible as AIDS, cancers and tumors, or that sort of thing

But I think we can both agree that a disease that is less managable, more painful, and more fatal is definitely worse.

I've always made the argument that it's a pussy disease in comparison, I've never just said "it's a pussy disease"

I don't claim to know everything. I think I'm right though, and I think that first hand experience would, if anything, cloud my logic.
I've looked at the causes for diabetes, I've looked at the effects of diabetes, and I can safely say that it's not even close to the severity of AIDs or cancer or SARS. How can you say that something a disease that is just a large hassle is even close to a disease that causes death? Diabetes is managable 99.9% of the time, while cancer and AIDs can kill you even if you treat it perfectly. You will die a slow painful death with AIDs, SARs, and cancer. Yet with diabetes the chance of dieing is very slim. Matter of fact, if you do die there is a high chance that you just go into a coma and die in your coma. I'd take that than slowly suffocating or dieing from seizures.
