I thoroughly enjoyed that. He should have let the video stretch on longer, with classical orchestral music and commentary from a golf sportscaster.
And some other producers bought one too (Can't remember their names).
Jayson Thiessen (show's director) bought this Rainbow Dash if that's what you're talking about http://whitedove-creations.deviantart.com/gallery/36258723#/d4ydcie
The word haters should be banned from existence. [editline]16th May 2012[/editline] As should people who use it unironically.
You're just a hater.
I almost forgot how fast petrol lights on fire, and mixed with the fabric the plush was made from probably didn't help. :v: And now that I also know the story behind the video I honestly think it was justified. If people ask for shit, but doesn't want to pay for it, they're basically asking for videos like this.
Exactly. I really don't understand why people do this kind of thing. It's wasteful and ignorant.
Do you really care about one in a billion plush dolls?
In all fairness, the pony plushies are pretty well made and would be great for a kid to have. I just keep imagining horrible visuals of people cutting out a hole, putting a fleshlight in, and then using them to enact their own clopfic fantasies out...
Relevant image (not sure if SFW)

[editline]16th May 2012[/editline] "twilight sparkle is kawaii desu~"
Nah not mine, found it posted in some pony subreddit. I have no idea where it's originally from, certainly not Reddit. I don't even think they're capable of creating original content.

that was a heavy stream of pee
I was gonna come in here and rant about how the guy wasted hundreds of dollars just to burn a fabric pony, but this sort of makes me feel more at ease. I can laugh now.
I don't think plushies cost hundreds of dollars. [editline]16th May 2012[/editline]
This scares me. I know Lauren Faust bought this one, though http://img.ponibooru.org/_images/fffb520aa604b3a94b1e3336f2f37908/163387%20-%20Alicorn%20ebay%20Faustacorn%20fausticorn%20lauren_faust%20lauren_faust_is_best_pony%20lauren_faust_OC%20Lauren_Faust_Pony%20plushie%20shit_you_can't_afford%20Tau_Sunflare%20way_too_much_money_for_a_fucking_plushie.png And some other producers bought one too (Can't remember their names).
The creator of the show I can understand buying it. Sexually repressed manchildren, that's pitiful.
Take it to PMs so you don't turn the thread into a flame war.
I'm sure bronies would be willing to pay at least 50$ for that on Ebay. Hell, a plushie got sold for over 5000$ once. Some might say bronies are profitable if you're good at stitching and crafts.
To be honest, there's a huge untapped market of people willing to buy any MLP products. For artists, it's a huge goldmine, for the price of their dignity.
I should change the names of my songs to something pony related to the bronies will pay shitloads of money for me.
Sexually repressed manchildren, that's pitiful.
Oh boy here we go
Story behind the video: The person who made the video is an artist and they do commissions, the plushy was a commission, but the buyer never paid up. They didn't want to keep the pony since it wasn't one of their characters or from the show, just some random guy's OC... So they burned it.
That's good. Would be depressing to see someone spend hundreds of dollars to prove how much they hate something.
Maybe the show is good and teaches good morals to children but for fully grown adults to watch and go batshit crazy about it is just stupid. I know it's just a bandwagon 'meme' thing to watch it but it's still dumb.
It's not a bandwagon 'meme' thing to watch, people are literally just so bored that even MLP show goes.. Which is sad.
I don't think plushies cost hundreds of dollars.
$1,425 $2,025 It's crazy how much people will pay for these.
I wonder if I could suffocate someone with that plushie.
$1,425 $2,025 It's crazy how much people will pay for these.
They're probably the same kind of people who will pay hundreds of dollars for a virtual hat with a particle effect To be fair though, they probably have a lot of expendable cash, and I could easily see myself buying a ton of stupid shit if I had that kind of money
He could have donated that to somewhere. I'm sure it would have made some little kid happy. :/
Or a grown man. <shudders>
oh
Yeah, paying 200 hundred dollars on an MLP plushie only to burn it. Isnt it illegal to make plushies and sell them since they are copyrighted characters, or am I missing something here.
How are people selling these? Isnt it illegal to make plushies and sell them since they are copyrighted characters, or am I missing something here.
Hasbro said they're ok with it. As long as it isn't like... mass produced in a factory.
To be fair to them, those plushies do look very well made.
I'm a brony and I find this hilarious.
Yeah, paying 200 hundred dollars on an MLP plushie only to burn it. Great idea guys, right?
Where did you read he payed 200 hundred (?) dollars for it?
Where did you read he payed 200 hundred (?) dollars for it?
You dont even know how much those damn plushies cost
He could have donated that to somewhere. I'm sure it would have made some little kid happy. :/
No, a brony would end up fucking it. It's better this way.
