did anyone think that maybe just maybe people LIED about her speaking languages fluently to give the story more credibility?
this is groundbreaking stuff here men

I don't believe that we'll ever know whether or not gods exist (there is no such thing as an "agnostic atheist" or "agnostic theist".)

Bringing religion into shit never ends well.
Nobody can agree with each other on such a big subject.
okay I'll try to sum up what the thread would have been like if the relgioing shit never happened:
DAMN THAT BITCH BE SCARY YO
and then that would have went on for 3 pages and then the thread would have died.

Agnosticism
They may or may not believe in god(s).
Fixed.
Why should we do that? Religion is stupid, illogical, and self-destructive. Don't believe me? Read a history book. It is and always has been just a tool used to control people: nothing more.
Whilst I'm not religious at all, your right to believe religion is a tool for oppression is just the same as others rights to believe it is not.
Fixed.
No, you're wrong. Agnosticism isn't the belief that god may or may not exist, it's the belief that we will never be able to know the truth either way
there is a difference
"God may or may not exist" is just being on the fence

Yeah but there's lots of definitions and I think most people are starting to use the "don't know don't care" definition more. I believe it's possible to know, just not with current knowledge.

This.
Dude no it isn't.
Dude learn to read. Just because your fucked up definition of agnosticism is the most commonly held one doesn't mean it's the CORRECT one.
Here's my motherfucking source, and it's not wikipedia
I think people who believe in a certain religion only seek to believe it because some how if they didn't, there would be no answer to life and evidently bring a sort of 'depression' and misunderstanding to their lives. Maybe they are trying to hide what is unbelievable.
I can't say it right but I hope this gives an idea.

Good job insulting me, I didn't say a peep to you.
By the way who decides what is the "Correct" definition?

Yeah, you're wrong. You can be both and atheist and a theist and be 100% sure that you're right.
Pure agnosticism is not possible though, because if you do not answer yes to the question "do you believe in a god" you are by definition an atheist.

A language is comprised of the most commonly recognized definitions so the people can communicate so if most people agree to a certain definition that makes it official as per a part of a language.

No, that just ruins the integrity of the language. A language without set boundaries isn't a language at all.
By the way who decides what is the "Correct" definition?
God
/sarcasm
Now we are talking about languages? No please

Well it would only be natural for any Western Atheist to dislike Christianity. It would be a waste of time to denounce African Paganism in USA. It's not a question of hate, rather a question of what affects us.

Yes is theist, no is atheist, maybe is agnostic.
Probably yes is agnostic theist, probably no is agnostic atheist.

You can't be BOTH an atheist and theist. They fucking contradict each other.

You can answer that question with "it's impossible to know either way" and you're an agnostic.

you can't simply definitions like that, it doesn't work that way.
No, that just ruins the integrity of the language. A language without set boundaries isn't a language at all.
The entire modern English language is a bunch of slang based on the original English language, which was based off of other languages. So if you want to speak the pure language you'd have to be speaking the way they did centuries ago. Language changes constantly.
Not you
Why would it be correct if that websites owner put it there? It's his opinion on it.

An Atheist would have to logically hold positions though.
The furthest you can simply the definitions is this:
Atheist: I don't believe
Theist: I believe
Agnostic: I can't believe either way
I don't get exactly why people are like JESUS FUCK. while listening to this.
A woman screaming, whoop de doo.
Anyone could scream like that.
