Oh god, my girlfriend called me and asked if I had to time tonight. She said "We need to talk".
Now I am psyched.
Grats, man. I still haven't had a good clubbing experience. I go and just drink with friends. Not enough confidence to dance.
How do you intend on breaking it?

Saw this in LMAO, and though it talks about waifus and shit, it makes some pretty good points in general.

It discusses the lengths to which people go to create walls around themselves and social groups. Did you watch the whole thing?
Hey guys, this may and probably will sound like a very dumb qeustion, but Id like some advice with it anyways.
Let's see there's this girl you've know for 9 years or so, and you're chatting with her on facebook, and then all of the sudden she asks:
"Are you horney?"
How should you respond to that?
Keep in mind, she's old enough to have sex, while I'm still underaged, and in my opinion I really shouldn't talk about having sex my age. (I'm 14 years old by the way)
jesus christ you guys are all autists

If you're not comfortable with it, don't do it. It's not stupid, it's potentially illegal. Don't feel bad dude.
Alright I have an issue. So a few months back, this girl, Brittany, who I'm sort of friends with asked me if I'd like to attend senior prom with her. I said I would, because I didn't have a date and was getting anxious, even though I wasn't totally psyched about going with her.
A few weeks ago I started getting involved romantically involved with another girl, Courtney. Now I think it would be awkward for both of us if I went with Brittany, so I talked to my other friend Stephen. He said he'd take her instead, and I would take Courtney. It would all work out fine because we're all friends with the same people, so we'd all be together anyway. Everything was looking like it would work out, but now Brittany is just saying, "Go with Courtney. I don't know what I'll do."
I'm sitting here now, feeling like a dick because I'm guessing she doesn't want to go with Stephen, and now she probably doesn't want to go with me either. I stressed to her that if she doesn't want to go with Stephen, I would still take her, but now she's implying she doesn't want to go with either of us. It sucks because I told her many times that whatever happened, I wouldn't leave her without a date, and now that's what I'm trying to do (not leave her alone), and she's making it very difficult. I'm not sure what to say now.
Comments such as, "It's just a prom," need not apply. I know how insignificant it is in the grand scheme of things. I just want to make everyone happy, and I think if Brittany went with Stephen, she would be.
Fuck.

Perhaps you could explain to Courtney that you told Brittany that you would go with her prior to meeting her?
But then again, I see that you'd much rather go with Courtney instead of Brittany. I would take Courtney to prom, try and get Brittany to go with Stephen, and then take Brittany out for a friendly cup of coffee or some shit later as an apology.
I think this is one of those situations where you can't make everyone happy, just do what you want, this is your last prom.
i don't understand proms. why does it matter who you go with? is it just the person you walk through the door with? surely once that's over and done with everyone just goes and hangs with their respective friendship groups n stuff? take brittany and be polite but then just chill with courtney all night
yeh i really don't understand this prom mentality. proms in the UK are just a big night out at a hired venue with all the friends you've grown up with for the past 7 years or whatever. everyone dresses up in tuxedos but other than that it's just a normal night out, only nicer. it's so relaxed. everyone just goes with their respective friendship groups and has a lovely night. the pressure and hassle of the US-style prom is retarded and something that should not be imposed on young people
AAwww love advice is a thread instead of a subforum now? ;( how horrible.
It discusses the lengths to which people go to create walls around themselves and social groups. Did you watch the whole thing?
i watched about 5 minutes of it and concluded that even the guy who made the video was a massive anime nerd
it was enough to see that the video had nothing to do with anything that actually matters in the real world

I generally dislike anime and I'm telling you the guy who made it is pretty normal, in fact if you watched the whole thing you might have got to the point of the video. I guess your attention span doesn't last that long though.
i have better things to do with 15 minutes than learn about waifus

To be fair, it's pretty lengthy. It's not so mindblowing that I'll be annoyed by him refusing to watch it.

I found it to be hilarious, enlightening, and inspirational.
I don't know if this is the right place for it, but... I was just dropped by a girl I had been with for almost two years. We always had fun together and it felt like we really were meant to be. Sure we had our problems, but that goes with any relationship. A big problem was that whenever she would get really stressed about anything(not relating to us, just anything random), the first thing that would come to her mind is that she needs to be single because she can't handle being in a relationship on top of the stress. Although, it's not like I was forcing her to do anything, I told her if she needed space she could just call when she wanted to see me. Then today she says I did nothing wrong and that it's all her. How, she wanted me to be all these amazing things that I guess I'm not. I don't know, she always told me I was amazing and I'd say the same to her. We had so much going yet it just happens like this. I don't know what to do with myself. I'm just so stuck. She's made me a bunch of things I love to death but seeing them crushes me. I just wish I could wake up from this terrible nightmare.
So about the question i asked the other day, since I don't got so many friends to brag about it too, I'll do it here.
I went first over to the girl who where supposed to sleep at my place, but that never happend since she wasn't allowed by her mother. Nothing interesting happend there so when the clock was about 21:30 i went to the party. I'll sumorize it quick.
Made out with two chicks and kissed two others. So all in all my stats of girl's that I've kissed got mulitliplied with 5.

oh, i didnt realize from the three other people who warned of similar outcomes
Bleh. How do I approach a girl that I haven't really talked to for months? I've had a crush on her since the beginning of the school year and I talked to her every so often first semester, but she stopped going to the club that i met her at due to stage and I don't really get a chance to talk to her anymore. Some friends and I are planning a get together to watch a movie and I'm planning on inviting her since stage is ending next week, but I don't really want to just walk up to her and ask her since it might be awkward after such a long time of not talking. I really don't have any experience with women (still in high school), and it's been bugging me for a while, been wanting to ask her out since around December.
do you get any chance to see her throughout the day?
if you really can't find time to talk, get her number and text her or play one of those games like draw something with her
you could also try less to make it sound like its coming out of nowhere, and more like you realize you havent talked in a while and you should catch up
