did you or are you planning on going to school? or do you have some sort of career in mind?
I was, for architecture. Let's just say that it didn't work out and leave it at that...
This is the wrong way of thinking.
He's just high on life, what I think he means is that in moderate amounts it really can increase your social ability. They call it liquid courage for a reason.
I was, for architecture. Let's just say that it didn't work out and leave it at that...
That's actually what I currently plan to have for a career.
If you guys remember my last post from a few days ago, basically she said now if I can prove to her that I can actually get a job, she'll consider me again. The thing is, I would have gotten a job long ago, and maybe it sounds ridiculous, but god it's not easy. Sure I haven't been giving up, but it just seems like no one wants to hire. Though, now she said she's going to talk to the manager at McDonald's about getting me a job, so if that works out, it will seriously feel like God is smiling on me for once. I'm not giving up, not yet.
This whole "she said she'll consider me again" thing is a mighty unhealthy way to build a relationship. I mean, are you supposed to feel GRATEFUL to her for coming down to your level to go out with you? I wouldn't be inclined to put up with that attitude in a love interest, she should be either interested or not.
I am in the Friend Zone with one girl, and we have a very...platonic relationship. I want to ask her out to Foster the People in St. Paul, but I'm not sure if it is even worth trying because I think I may have changed her feelings towards me towards a relationship. Any tips?
The "Friend Zone" is special nomenclature for "She's Not Attracted To Me" So unless you changed your outward appearance and/or personality, it might be wise to give up the ghost

When I am sad, I eat a small bucket of orange sherbert. It doesn't make me less sad, it just makes me sad about something else. For instance, my poor eating habits. [editline]29th April 2012[/editline] Then I can go ride my bike for an hour or so, which makes me feel much better about my fitness level, and I come out the other side forgetting what I was sad about in the first place. I have excellent coping skills.
absolute GENIUS
I was out partying this saturday and I feel like a total alien for that. It started good as usual, with a few drinks and great conversations. I had fun for real. Then later on the same evening, we went to this club thingy (It was past midnight), then it completely died for me. I was bored all the hours we spent there and I got home regretting not going home earlier. This happends to me pretty much everytime I'm out. Is this happening to anyone else, or is it just me? Makes me feel like shit anyhow.
:suicide: Well fuck. Thanks for the advice. Time to grab the prozac.
If that is the case, it's not like you've lost anything. Keep moving and keep your head up.
went to party, got slightly buzzed, apparently that was enough to awaken the part of me that's capable of flirting without being hilariously awkward. hit it off well with a girl, chatted for a while, went to make a move, she informs me that she does not like men and instead likes girls. :( i believe i said something like "so do I. what's not to like?" that did not remedy the situation. :(
Hahaha you get points for that line though!
The girl I'm talking about says she only has sex with people shes dated or has known for years. She basically picks who she wants to have sex with on camera. Shes very prude IRL and she has a boyfriend. Apparently, he doesnt treat her well and thats why she asked a guy out. But the fact that the guy KNEW she did porn and was being a manwhore about it just made it weird.
Link a video or two, you know, to help her out :I

Now, I have no idea why you might be like that, but I know I personally am an introvert and prefer intimate experiences as opposed to large groups. I like to take a girl I'm interested in (or a friend) away from the pack after a while and spend time with just them. Helps me wind down from crazy nights. Queue "INFINITE 20 YEAR OLD WISDOM" now. She got super butthurt when I took her friend home and it resulted in mucho drama. I thought she liked the girl and I went to apologize, saying "I didn't know you liked her, I wouldn't have cock blocked you had I known." Just the look on her face told me I had somehow missed the point. It took quite a while for me to figure out she was mad because she liked me, not the girl. Anyway she's a super feminazi now and I can't help but think I may have partially caused that lol.
You cant always rely on liquid courage. Whats going to happen when you call this girl and you realize you aren't that brave? I'm only assuming this since you stated: "infront of a crowd without being embarrassed or scared."
Well i called her and we're going to the movies on sunday. So i doubt i need to dance in front of a large crowd again. I'll play it safe man, don't you worry.
He sounds very insecure or very controlling. You should never be fearful of someone you love or constantly shouting at them. I hope he can learn to control his anger, but if he cant and it progresses to something worse, I'd tell her to leave him immediately.
Don't worry she dumped him.
By "did not remedy the situation, what do you mean?
no booty for zinayzen :(
Link a video or two, you know, to help her out :I
Google Cyrus Blow.
How can I make myself comfortable around women? I can interact with the opposite sex extremely well, but I can't get a "moving" relationship.
You just have to force yourself to act like you are until it permanently becomes part of your character
Seriously love you guys. Don't feel bad anymore at all, I realized I had no reason to, since I didn't do anything wrong. I'm happy now. Thanks all.
ive been texting this girl i met the other day and shes called and hung up really fast twice now honestly i think she might just suck at texting or something and instead accidentally called, but its sorta weird
I often like to pretend I am a sex robot from the future, named Sexmotron, but I'm a poor judge of when it's appropriate to do so.
