I almost hope it is, because it would be pretty darn funny for her to try and drive a wedge between the deep and abiding friendship that Jordan and I share. And besides, he pretty much predicted this exact scenario last week. If she wants to try and use me, I have no qualms with counter-using her! Jord-Friend and I would laugh and laugh [sub]and laugh [sub]and laugh [sub]and laugh [sub]and laugh [sub]and laugh [sub]and laugh[/sub] [sub]and laugh[/sub] [sub]and laugh[/sub][/sub][/sub][/sub][/sub][/sub][/QUOTE]
Uh oh, I think BDA's broken.
Strategic Doinking
Doinking?
Doinking.
So I've been quite casually and happily talking to a girl for about two weeks or so now, fully intending on asking her to go see a movie on Monday when I load up facebook and on the feed I see a picture of her out at a party smiling for the camera whilst two muscled guys hold one of her boobs each, not quite sure how I'm to interpret this :v:
So it turns out there's a new girl at my place of work. She's not bad looking and so far as I can tell she's pretty nice. Maybe next time we're working together I'll see about going with her and getting some coffee or something
Seith, I wonder about you sometimes. Do you want people to think of you as a philosopher, or something? It feels as if most of the posts I see you are make are poor attempts at enlightened explanations of complex philosophical subjects. The normal response to somebody using a word incorrectly is not to argue semantics by awkwardly probing the other's party's psychological or spiritual condition.
I've been quite social quite often the past two weeks, they've been pretty damn great. I'm starting to love being social, it's a great feeling...

I'd say you dodged a bullet seeing it before you asked her out

Unless he wants to be the third guy in a boob-holding group.

ask her to fuck you immediately
seith, the more you post like this, the less I take your real advice seriously
what kind of person gets so hung up on such an incredibly small detail that he needs to argue for paragraphs just to create the illusion that he has some sort of point besides arguing for the sake of arguing?
ill tell you what kind of person: someone who I wouldnt take advice from
in addition to how he's still pretty much wrong. the guy has a persona on facepunch, it's how he is choosing to post and represent himself on an anonymous community where a person's identity is really determined by their posting style
for instance, seith's persona is that of a pseudo-intellectual douchebag who picks apart a four word sentence to mean three hundred different things about a person and their condition, and probably their family's condition too, and never learns to shut the fuck up even with everyone arguing against him
actually, i'm being serious here, seith might be mildly autistic. i'm friends with someone mildly autistic who just has a problem with arguing against the world to try to be right about every little thing, although my friend can laugh about it and understands his issue, and i'm pretty sure seith just convinces himself he's right

"The normal response" as in, what you see fit? I'll try to work up to that standard.

Where did I argue? I asked a question and answered a question.

I'll let you enjoy the benefit of the doubt.
this discussion isn't very productive
[editline]20th May 2012[/editline]
actually there isn't really a discussion it's more people telling Seith why he should let it go, and then Seith showing us that not only can he not give very good advice, he can't take it as well.
Rather ironic when everything starting from post #4048 completely lost the meaning "Super Friendly".
Seriously Seith, even though I agree with most of your points, this looks like a time for you to get a life. While some people appreciate your advices (and some dont; really not the point), the main idea of this topic is to[b] help other people Socialize and advise them in Love affairs[/b], while your post where you [b]ask about the meaning of the word "persona" goes [i]absolutely downwards offtopic[/i][/b]. If you continue doing this, I will put moderation team to the attention of you engulfing argumentation wars in this topic.
And, for the last time, P L E A S E refrain from creating arguments on little to no basis.
You crack me up raven

I'm sorry, I never knew I had so much power. lol

I'd love to jump on the bandwagon, but I think we've long since established our point to Seith. Just let it go, both sides.
Went and did relay for life for 7 hours, my ex (the sane one) was there for 5 of them, and though things were a little awkward, it went pretty well. The thing is, word of how she broke up with me spread fast, and a lot of my grade hates her for how she treated me, something that I feel a bit responsible for. Regardless, everything went well.
I also had a dream that ended in her suddenly apearing and stabbing me to death. I informed her of this, and she said she was glad she was quick about it instead of prattling on about her plans, but she apologized for dream-murdering me (which was uneccessary, it was just a dream and I thought it was funny to share). So yeah, things are mostly stable now.
So, it went pretty well! I think we were both kinda shy at first, and she turned up a bit late but once we ordered our coffees and sat down and started talking, it started flowing much more smoothly. There were still a few pauses in conversation here and there, but we chatted for over an hour and found out a fair bit about each other and even went into somewhat personal topics as well; she even told me about how she met her boyfriend online, adding that she doesn't tell many people that, so I shared a funny story of my own about meeting a girl over the Internet. Then suddenly the cafe started playing really loud music so I suggested we bounce to another nearby cafe, which we did.
She had to leave soon after though, so I walked her to where she was getting picked up from. Walking and talking was a lot more chilled so it was easier to be playful and make her laugh and shit. I ended up actually meeting her parents, shaking both of their hands and leaving her with a hug. Then just before I was able to say it myself, she says to me, "We should get together again."
sdkgjsdkgjsdg it was all just so nice, fuck. I told her I'd give her a call soon, and teased her for being shit at replying to texts. With that she got in the car and left, as I walked away trying to hide a fucking massive smile on my face lol. She texted me when she got home as well to say thanks for paying for her drink/food.
Ahhhhhh fuck, I really like this girl. Her laugh is so fucking cute and I feel we could just get each other on shit. I think I'll wait a day or two before calling her, invite her to something else more exciting than coffee this time. Maybe something in the city, but I already did art galleries with the other girl and they're friends lolol, so she'll know that I recycle date ideas haha. I'll figure something else out though.
The only thing though is, she's currently in a LDR with a guy in the US, which I can appreciate and I don't want to ruin shit for either of them, and I won't let anything actually happen in that regard but like, fuck it, I'm genuinely interested in this girl and want to continue pursuing it, shit she was even the one to suggest getting together again before I could. I don't know, I guess I'll just see what happens next and take it as it comes.

I'm pretty sure going on a date with her kind of ended it.
Sounds like she's interested. Remove distressing thoughts from mind and continue according to plan.
Ha, totally misread Love Triangle Chick's intentions yesterday! Turns out she wanted to use me as a buffer between herself and John, the first member of the Hilarious Love Triangle. But, I didn't try very hard to reverse wingman her, and she ended up crumbling to John's teddy bearishness, and so John ended up having a pretty darn good birthday!
I was honestly a little bit jealous! Not because he was all cuddly with Love Triangle Chick, because my feelings towards her are pretty much strictly platonic (though she [I]does[/I] have some pretty killer legs), but just because I was kind of the odd man out by the end of the night, and I had nobody to neck up with myself. Always leaves you feeling a bit out of place, being that guy!
We three had lots of fun up until the last hour, in which I began to get the distinct impression that they were both just waiting for me to go to bed so that they could go pet each other in my guest room.

Happy ole John, all smiles this morning!

I knew you'd love that.
So I'm trying to get in touch with my old crush who now goes to a different school that I haven't seen for about half this year.
Ask out, Oui or Non?

I've decided upon no longer pursuing this interest, she is a dirty ho

Definite no. I have done it before. Just no. Might just be my bad experience, but from what I have seen no.
Well it went fine, we talked for an hour and a half about schooling and various things around the home, we may be going to dinner on friday.
:D
