pretty much by talking to his girl for him.
i'm not his bitch, so i told him i wouldn't do it, but like i said, the guy's persistent
that's kind of bizarre. I think you did the right thing, it's not your problem and you definitely shouldn't get mired in it
There's a girl who just seems to be interested in me. When we are in the bus heading to school she sits as close as she can to come. Like, in the back, front, left or right seats close to me. I can't really tell if she's really interested in me, it seems likely, though.
I don't know what I should do about this. Going to her and starting a conversation seems like the best thing to do, but, I don't know for sure if it's a good idea. Or, if I should try something else.

Are you interested in HER?
Are you interested in HER?
I sort of am. She seems like a fun person and she's really pretty. But, problem is, there's so many guys interested in her, some of them are those really annoying and immature people that try to mess up with whatever comes up. And, they are on the same bus.

I don't see why other people interested in her should be a problem, I doubt anyone would be a big enough of a douche to do anything to you if you made a move or something. And since apparently a lot of guys are interested do you know if she's in a relationship? If she isn't I think you should go for it and ask her out.
I think I'll roll with that idea. One of my friends has a date tonight, and she's being taken out to a coffee shop too.
That said, would a starbucks be tacky or two chain-y? Or something a bit more "original" or "home-y"?
Just bumping this once more for another page since no one answered it, and the date is tomarrow and plans need to be made soon.
it is too chain-y which is why you go to any other coffee shop in town
if you say "i don't know what coffee shops are in my town" then holey moley google maps son
Update: my fortitude roll was wasted because on the way to ask the girl to the prom, I discovered in an idle Facebook check that a more attractive girl who I'm closer with broke up with her boyfriend a few days ago, so I think I'm going to ask her instead next week. I don't think she's too hung up about it because she hadn't been acting any differently. Also, her friends were joking about it on her status update thing and she was joking back, but I think it's still a little too rebound-y, so I'm going to wait a few more days. Okay? Okay.

I like scotch okay
Here's one of those stories-
So I like this girl I work with, huge crush on her, we go to school pretty close to one another so I asked her out to lunch on Wednesday (like two days ago), but she said she was sick and barely making it through class.
I really can't tell if this girl has any interest in me. I'll be standing at work and look over at her for a bit and sometimes she's looking my way too. I don't know if it's coincidental though and I"m just forcing myself to think this.
Anyways, I don't really want to come on too strong, that's what I was trying to do lunch for. Would it be too ballsy to either call her (which I never do, I rarely even text her) or ask her in person out to dinner sometime? She's out of my league, but fuck leagues mayne. I really like this girl and want to get to know her and her to get to know me. I feel like she doesn't really know me since at work I have to take on a different discourse in front of the customers.
Appreciate any advice.

Actually, I was thinking maybe asking her out to coffee sometime, in person. Seems a bit more subtle.
I had a 15-year-old middle school student ask me for my number at work today.
It was very degrading.

I successfully ASKED the girl on the date and we're going on sunday
didn't axe her this time
i'll have a beer in your honour.
oooooh goss! where are you going? how did you ask her? tell us EVERYTHING
I can already tell that I'm probably an extremely weak person and an example of everything that is wrong with humanity, so I think I'll just avoid even attempting any kind of relationship with anyone forever.
I think it sounds like a good plan, anyways. Why try if your chances are a solid 0%?
Are you kidding me?
I asked a girl out by doing pretend-hypnosis on her to get a "fresh start" since we've been knowing each other for two and a half years.
I wear a fucking fedora every day as if I am some sort of closet-hipster, I have a beard and I am middle-eastern and far from slim.

(I don't have a full beard anymore though, goatee, soulpatch and mustache.)
That's my current Steam avatar. It used to be my facebook profile picture too and my relationship status on there is with my pc, which I have named Stella. (It is a joke but some people failed to get it)
I play videogames constantly and I paint tiny plastic men.
I've never been close to a girl apart from being friends but even I, I as in, beardo the weirdo in a hat who plays with tiny toys, asked a girl out and got a yes. She was the first girl I've asked out, so it isn't like I'm some sort of dating genius.
Give me a valid argument as to why you have a solid 0% chance of having a relationship. Give me ONE.
I thought it was impossible as well. I just jumped in and went for it and so should you. I know it is cliché to just say "go for it". But really, that is the best advice there is. What I'm trying to say is, that you should stop looking down on yourself and look up towards your goals. Then reach them.
So my mom has caught me high for the first time.
It pisses me off because she acts like after catching me one time that I am some stoner that is going nowhere in life and blaze up everyday. I barely smoke one every two weeks and it is usually after a stressful period of time. Furthermore I have been doing this for 2 years and she would have never noticed if my eyes hadn't been particularly red. I think the most ridiculous part was when I went to the kitchen and grabbed 3 thin mint girlscout cookies. Those things are tiny, and all 3 fit in one fist with the fingers closed, she looked at me like I was some ravenous dude with the munchies who just grabbed a 3 course meal.
She always assumes, it is her most annoying trait. Even if something isn't true she assumes and convinces herself her assumptions are correct even if it is ridiculous. She happened to be right for once and I was high, but I was at the point where I had just red eye so even when she is right she has to make a mountain out of a mole hill.
I know she cares and she doesn't want me to end up like my dad who had major drug problems and ditched us, but I do not use drugs other than weed and even then I use it as a bi weekly relaxation hangout with some guys, all who have straight A's. I do not abuse it and use it everyday to the point where I am some shit stain on the couch so I do not understand why there is such animosity towards me. Oh well.
That's not animosity. That's a common trait all people who become moms or dads develop - Worrying. About everything, regardless of how realistic those worries might be.

No she dislikes me right now, it is a trait women have called "You don't do what I want therefore I am not talking to you".
I've been through it dude. I was caught with weed and to be quite frank, it ruined the foundation of my entire family and even now years later, things aren't as close as they used to be. I won't go into details but I advise you to talk to her about it. It's perfectly normal and understandable for her to be worrying about you, she's only your mother and she cares about you, especially with the family history on her mind. However she chooses to express that is up to her, but to think she outright dislikes you is just you being irrational, and tbh quite selfish.
Just don't let her assume things. Tell her what you've told us; that you are a responsible and moderate user, you don't hang around scummy cunts and you know your limits blah blah blah. Just be honest and open about it if you have the chance. I don't mean to belittle your situation, but when I was first caught, my entire family was screaming/crying, and it came to the point of them sitting me down, and forcing me to hold a picture of our religion's prophet whilst promising to never touch weed again. I would appreciate the fact that you're even able to talk to her about it without being told to shut up, basically.
Man I hate Facebook, I'm still in the "too shy to talk about our relationship" zone with this girl, and the past few days there's been a guy called David commenting on her statuses and posting on her wall and the like in an incredibly close way (including kisses and love hearts and everything). Now of course, I was a little bit worried about this because I really like her and we were planning on talking about the two of us next time we see each other. This got me thinking that she was going to friendzone me and date this other guy instead.
Today I found that it was just a false alarm, it's just a gay guy that she's been friends with for a while. Fucking Facebook.

Wow man I feel so sorry for you, I got caught with mushrooms salvia dxm and marijuana and my parents just made jokes, you've legitmately made me more appreciative of my parents.

I think I know the feeling, my parents pretty much know I smoke weed every now and then although they've never seen me doing so. But what can annoy me is when, because I hang out with people who smoke weed on a consistent basis, they think I do it all time. And they knew a good friend of mine was a massive stoner so every time I go over there, my brother shouts "OFF TO SMOKE SOME WEED ARE WE TOM?" for banter, which is really embarrassing.
It's similar with smoking, although, really I did smoke like a proper smoker (it's been a week since I stopped!). But that made the odd genuine cough really awkward, cos I'd have to lie out of embarrassment, "Oh, why do you have such a bad cough tom? Are you smoking?" "N...no, nope." "But you do do it occasionally still, don't you." "No" "You do, don't you."

I got caught high last year (on 4-20 :v:) and it was awkward for a couple months, but eventually she forgot it ever happened. Just don't give her a reason to be suspicious, it'll keep fueling her need to nag on you about being high
I'm not really sure if this is.. related to the subject, but I figure it will help with the social aspect..
ANYWAY, I just got offered a second job, which I'm going to take, but I'm wondering how should I tell my current employer about it? I'm keeping that job, but just cutting back my availability by a day.
I'm just not sure how to like.. just say it.

It's a casual friendly relationship. There's little to no formality at all.
Well that should make things easier. Say something along the lines of "Hey, I got offered a second job recently. Would it be alright if my availability is cut back by a day?"
You shouldn't be thinking too hard about it, considering you're in good standing I'm sure he/she will be okay with it, unless you're needed at work every day
Alright. Yeah I figured it wouldn't be too big a deal. I just shot him an e-mail since he's probably doing a party right now and I'm not allowed to call him.
He'll see it on his phone when he's got free time.
Asked a girl that I'm good friends with if she wants to go out on Tuesday. Made it pretty clear it was a date. She said yes, so now I'm happy.
