It appears to me to be more along the lines of "Not now, but maybe if I got to know you better."
everything is a thinly veiled no [editline]11th February 2012[/editline]
It appears to me to be more along the lines of "Not now, but maybe if I got to know you better."
probably not though

Scotch does not make for a satisfying fuck, I can tell you that. There's a lot more burning and crying than usual. [editline]11th February 2012[/editline] Well, a little more. [editline]11th February 2012[/editline] Anyway I'm really glad I did it.
Rejected but she was real nice about it so whatever [editline]10th February 2012[/editline] The Emperor's work is done, pony shit posted on my visitor messages will result in immediate exterminatus.
Good try mate.
My closest friend and I differ on a few tastes. I like rap and hip hop, whereas he likes 80s arena rock. I like a kind of urban style of dress, he usually just wears whatever. And none of that bothers me, he's my friend so I don't really care about those differences, to each his own, right? Well I suspect he's a bit racist and constantly tells me that the stuff I wear/do/listen to is "too black for a white kid from the suburbs." okay, sure I am a white suburb kid but I don't go around acting like I'm from "the hood" or whatever. He usually feels the need to try and correct me to more Caucasian ideas such as heavy metal and rock and roll, genres which I'll listen to but I don't really like. Today he got on one of his soap boxes and said that I "idolize people like Kanye West who don't give a shit about you because are white. Stop acting like you're black" and this went back and forth with me basically defending my interests. No real point to this post, just wanted to vent without starting any more dumb shit. He likes anime and shit but I don't tell him to act less asian. It just really gets me fired up and I don't know if it's worth all this aggravation, but he's one of my closest friends and I value that friendship. What do?
Aahah wow, holy shit I'm in exactly the same position, even to the point of him liking anime. He's said things like "rap is just a black man talking about how much money he has over some drums". It's annoying as fuck.

It's so different than everyone else's, why has no one noticed!" - the truth is no one cares, and people like that tend to use their taste in music/film/whatever as a proxy for a personality, and then bash everything else just to be sure people know about it. Like, I tend to see a lot of metal fans who don't dare like anything else because it would jeopardize their status as a proper metal fan. As it happens though I think most people tend to grow out of it, and the people who don't grow out of it aren't as good as you because you have a proper personality (I'm assuming).
JohnnyMo, maybe she actually just wants to be friends? As opposed to it being the normal bullshit excuse.
I don't fuckin' know. Whatever. I'm not gonna stop trying to be good friends with her because she's a cool person and apparently she wants to and
I'm not gonna get hung up on it but hey, maybe in the future if I felt like it was right.
So I got a girl's number on Thursday and we texted for about an hour and a half Thursday night and last night in quite a flirty way. Normally I'd just ask her out on Thursday but she told my friend on Monday that she "doesn't want a relationship for the moment". She's definitely being flirty (and she was even the one to start texting me on thursday), so maybe she's changed her mind? Next problem I have is Valentine's day; should I be asking her out before then? I don't want to get friendzoned.

It fogs the mind, and you stop acting you like you normally would. You seem to be analyzing too much. Fuck what your friend told you. If she didn't want to have a relationship, you guys would not be texting right now. Go for it. Be assertive, be sure about your decision. Trust me, it can make the difference between a friendzone situation and going on a date. The longer you wait, the more the chances of being friendzoned go up.
maybe it's just me but february seems like a really crappy month for relationships probably the weather

I just talked to her and I now have a date (at least I think that's what it is, I'll explain more tomorrow) on Tuesday!

Every single time, no girl I'm interested in is ever available. In the middle of a conversation she'll say something about "my boyfriend did so-and-so yesterday, blah blah" and I'm just like "...ah shit". You guys complain about having the balls to ask a girl out. Well I can't even get to that step.
Been rejected 3 times so far. Twice by one girl. Now I sorta ran out of people I'm interested in so this is quite the predicament. but I still have feelings for the one I got rejected by twice. aaaah

That date was odd I've had 5 girlfriends but I have never just been on a date with someone I barely know, so I did today and it was odd. Hardly any flirting happened, we just talked and got to know each other and stuff but it was just friendly really. She talked more than me which is great as I feel that any silence might have been awkward I got her number and have the opportunity to see her again, but I don't know how well today went. I hope she had fun
