hug me too while you're at it [editline]14th February 2012[/editline] I could use a good hug
Today: Mother was in surgery, girlfriend broke up with me via facebook, my dog has a lump which may or may not be cancerous also made mistake of talking to previous ex about my problems. BUT I made a sweet song. It's weird because normally this would be the worst day of my life but I managed to fix it just by playing music. sigh, sucks not having people to talk to. A good listener would be awesome.
stroke your stubble
Its better then nothing I guess. Honestly it was needed. With the way my hair is, I dont think I look good with a beard.
I look like a Mexican with my facial hair... Damn fuzz.
I made a total ass of myself at the first dance I've ever been to because I had no idea what the fuck I was doing, and no one decided to tell me till three days after Fuck
It's in the past. Don't dwell on it for too long. Instead, just work on making a good impression on those around you, despite past mistakes.

This past semester was my first in eight years, I was hoping to leave a good impression at the dance.

The song I danced to was the one that has the lyrics "apple bottom jeans, boots with the fur". I acted out the entire song in interpretive dance. I pointed to my jeans when it said the jeans. And I motioned my shoes when it said boots with the fur. and I made sure to point at my date when the song said "and the whole club was lookin at her". Yea, I ended up going home early and my date (how the fuck did I get her?) went to dinner with some other guy at the dance. Pretty much even today when I remember it, it was so god damn awkward that I shudder and cringe.
Okay normally I'm not confused over something like this but I had a Valentine's card attached to my front door when I got home tonight. I've never had it happen before and it was from a woman I hang out a small amount of time with and she obviously went out of her way to post it to my door. I think she looked up my address in the directory for the university since I've never taken her to my place before. Should I take this as a sign of interest or just her being extremely kind? I should probably mention that she is a pretty shy, very strong willed and also very well disciplined person.

I mean it seems like a somewhat romantic thing, but every time I do a second glance at your story I can't help but get a slight tingle from my possibly crazy bitch alarm.

It is about as cringe worthy as yours.
Sounds like my first ever date. I was asked out by a girl named Ann and we went to a midday movie and dinner. She was extremely social the whole way through, tended to always start the conversation while I shyly and awkwardly forced myself to reply. During the movie she grabbed hold of my hand, and I kind of freaked out about my personal space a little bit, but I eventually eased into the situation. We made a few comments during the movie, not much more than that. Then dinner came around. Oh god, I still cringe thinking how awkward I felt and was. We went to this pizzeria called Florencia's and ordered one of the specialty pizzas (I think it was a margarita pizza). Sat there in damn near silence for 20 minutes waiting for the food to come. None of us had the confidence at that point to look each other in the eyes or even in the relative direction of each other. So we ate the food, in near silence, with only a few words being spoken. Then when the bill came around I had never been happier to pick up the check so we could get out of there faster and I could hit my head against a wall when I got home. I walked her back to her place which wasn't far away, again in almost complete silence. Then when we finally reached her house about 15 minutes later, I struggled to basically say, "It was an experience... cya later." She agreed pretty quickly and walked right into her house, and I walked to the bus stop now feeling light as air and like total shit for being an awkward fuck. Thank god I'm no longer 16 nor this socially awkward.
Hell my mother legitimately had me tested for autism by 2 different doctors. edit- I am not by the way. Just an idiot.

I'm going to confront her tomorrow about it so I don't sit here daydreaming about it. I do that sometimes especially when taking a break from a lecture. I'm hoping she isn't a crazy bitch and that she really does have a genuine interest in me. She seems like my type of person.
Today I was confused with a woman in her fourties.

Yeah nothing went to plan, I still haven't been able to talk to her and she has a slight crush on someone else. I'm going to give her a bit of space so I don't annoy her, yet still maintain the casual flirting when I see her. If she brings up our drunken kissing I guess I'll explain it all then. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.
I should probably mention that she is a pretty shy, very strong willed and also very well disciplined person.
As a shy, strong willed person, I can say that these two traits are very conflicting at times. Maybe she is just trying to compromise between the two and did this. As for well disciplined, I cant say that I am.
I am here bby, you can be my valentine.
that honor goes to some estonian person.
How funny The exact same song came on, and the entire school was doing that
I was also a skinny white boy who was 4 feet high, had a stuttering lisp and wore clothes I bought from wal-mart without looking at the size.
I hated dances. They're so awkward and awful and the music is the shit that I hate. Clubs are infinitely better, and I've only been to two. (Or rather the same one twice) Too bad I'm 19 and can only go to the kind of shitty clubs that let 18+ in but I can't hit up the bar :v:
Clubs are terrible too. They're especially terrible.
Well, that all depends. For one, I didn't go to the club alone. Two, the music isn't generally terrible (but that often depends on when and where you go.) It's not for everyone but if I had to choose between reliving my awful school dances or going to the club again... I'd choose club.

But I am 18 and I get into bars just fine? Hell, my older friends will just buy me whatever alcoholic drink I want.
I've always been carded when I try to go into bars, even if I have stubble and all of that look-older shit going on. Though I have a coworker who homebrews and has no problems giving me some of his stuff.

Eventually they just lose track of you so when they see you sitting with a beer with a bunch of other friends and you dress older they just keep them coming. The bars I am going to are in a college town though, so I guess they are more relaxed. It is a pretty cool, the bars stretch down a small road and across from them is a coffee shop that gives free coffee to drunks who come in to sober up and they call a taxi for you. Also there are thrift stores, hookah bars and pretty much everyone just rides bikes. Basically it is kind of overrun by hipsters, but the good outweighs the bad with all the cool shit that happens here. I remember seeing a 3 man tandem bike (I think that is the name for it, it was basically 3 bikes connected) with 3 dudes on it shirtless with eye patches and plastic swords with bandanas with a giant ass pirated flag attach to a pole on the back of it. They were obviously drunk, and it was even better because it around mid day, not even at night.
That's badass. I'm in downtown Denver for pretty much all of the day, every weekday, so there's a lot of bars but they won't let me in :/
