Okay so i know i'm a newcomer and i haven't really read through the entire thread so this probably has been said (because it should be common knowledge) but i'm still gonna say it
Don't ever fucking wear fedoras
not for any reason, should you ever wear fedoras, if you want to get girls or generally not be socially awkward , do NOT wear fedoras. Fedoras are never cool, or classy, or stylish.
Okay that's all the advice i really have for anyone
None of my outfits are complete without a hat. Fedoras and other formal hats are the ultimate in gentlemanly accessories.
They turn a "some dude wearing a suit" into a man of mysterious intentions and unknown hair color.
You also seem to be uninformed.
Are you complaining about fedoras?

Fedoras are classy and seductive, trilbies are for douchebags who think they're hipsters.
I think that explains a lot actually

We shouldn't derail this thread into an argument on mens' head fashion.
That's why we have the TF2 section.
[editline]5th October 2012[/editline]
Yeah, whatever.
No one here likes me so I'll go back to my usual stuff.

a) a trilby is a type of fedora.
b) they look stupid when paired with shitty hipster clothing. you're mixing two completely different eras. unless you're dressed like a film noir detective, you're going to look retarded.
nice one jo. right in the kisser
also there is nothing "gentlemanly" or "mysterious" about wearing an outdated hat just to be unique and original. elegance doesn't involve contradicting fashion.
where is the kisser on a robot???
[editline]5th October 2012[/editline]
can robots even kiss? would it mean anything since they don't have the capacity for feelings???? so many questions.
dude, you've ruined it. shut up
also there is nothing "gentlemanly" or "mysterious" about wearing an outdated hat just to be unique and original. elegance doesn't involve contradicting fashion.
Well I never said it was okay to mix eras.
Okay, back to being gone.
now now seith, there's no need to be rude
then your argument has nothing to do with why we hate fedoras
Fedoras can look good on the right person, including a trilby
no fedoras make you look like
a.) a tool
b.) autistic tool
pick one

fedoras are incredibly hard to pull off unless you are literally over the age of 50
trillbies are fucking terrible and disgusting and the only people who wear them are completely disconnected with actual fashion and dont understand that they are ugly, ill-fitting, and worn by autistic teenagers and retards that smugly hate hipsters while simultaneously dressing worse and being smugger than one
[editline]5th October 2012[/editline]
if you think that a trillby or fedora is a good hat then you are objectively awful at fashion and you need to re-evaluate your fashion sense. not just a "wow u dont dress like i do you are bad at fashion" i mean that if you think trillbies are good hats you absolutely 100% cannot dress yourself like an adult
i think those pictures summarized it, no need to increase his pain

robots can kiss
thanks Jo the mystery was driving me bonkers!!

lol just noticed this
a google search would've saved you from a factually inaccurate statement, and you're calling everyone else uninformed?
- Ok, let's what's on SFSAT today
> 2 pages of Fedora discussions
- aw sheeeit...
Fuck my life, just when things were going well. I asked the girl if she wanted to hang out again and got:
I honestly feel kinda uncomfortable about hanging out with you since I know you have feelings for me. And I didn't like those jokes about my pictures of Jesus.
She had fifty Jesus pictures everywhere, I joked a bit about how he looks sort of angry and there are so many of them, I didn't mean to be mean at all with it. FUCK IT ALL.
generally not a good idea to joke with someone who is obviously super serious about their faith about their faith
50 Jesus pictures good god
Fuck my life, just when things were going well. I asked the girl if she wanted to hang out again and got:

People with 50 Jesus pictures don't take a liking to men who make somewhat offensive jokes about their 50 Jesus pictures.
if a girl has 50 jesus pictures that is a girl not work ever speaking to ever again
[editline]5th October 2012[/editline]
i dont mean that as in smug atheist shitdickery i mean if a girl is obsessive ebough to have 50 pics of somethin that is like woop woop get the fuck out of there
And so it went that I asked out the obviously interested girl from the dating/social site.
Ahhh sunday roast
whatever will we do with you
-snip-
High as fuck
So guys. I've been getting this feeling this girl from my course is kinda interested in me. It really sounds strange but I kinda feel she is, you know..
I have already mentioned her some posts ago. (In september or so)
The thing is, she hangs out with this group of friends, mostly gamers and the funny thing is we never talked much before I started hanging around with them much.
So basically, lately I've been noticing she has been paying more attention to me. I usually find her staring at me and smiling. She actually shows me her music and interests. and when I'm alone or with them she usually comes sit next to me. We actually talk a lot.
I don't know what to think of it. I'm not pinpointing any issue here either. But I have this gut feeling she likes me, you know. That she has this genuine interest in me that she doesn't show towards other guys from the group. (She's actually kinda defensive towards them when they start messing with her, except with me. When I make a joke about her or say something funny about her, she laughs).
It's just been a while since I've been involved romantically with someone that I never actually considered getting romantically involved with someone. (not that I'm thinking of making this the case).
It's just like after I broke up with my ex, I've been seeing lots of girls, but I've been feeling kinda numb romantically that I don't even develop any kind of reaction to these kinds of things.
It's been more than a year and I got over my ex in a week. She's actually someone I kinda try to avoid on the streets cause she made my life a living hell on the last weeks of the relationship. Apart from that, it's just like I only want to be alone and at the same time my subconscious is telling me not to go through all the trouble again.
I played Skyward Sword for the first time, and it made me feel so awful that I had to stop.
For real. Watching all of the flirtatious love scenes in the beginning between Link and Zelda just made me feel terribly sad. I used to know a girl who would send me messages knowing full well I'd be asleep. I knew a girl who would tease me and I would tease back for fun. I knew a girl who I wanted to go on grand adventures with, and did. We fought with each other, we protected each other, we helped each other when we were in need. We loved each other. I knew a Zelda.
I loved a Zelda.
I've never been this emotionally invested into any sort of story, and I know this is pathetic as shit, but I tried explaining it my friend and he just thinks I'm fucking weird now. I just needed to say it.
Hey man, think about it this way - at least you have those awesome memories, that sounds like the time of a life. I sure wish I knew what that was like.
