I played Skyward Sword for the first time, and it made me feel so awful that I had to stop.
For real. Watching all of the flirtatious love scenes in the beginning between Link and Zelda just made me feel terribly sad. I used to know a girl who would send me messages knowing full well I'd be asleep. I knew a girl who would tease me and I would tease back for fun. I knew a girl who I wanted to go on grand adventures with, and did. We fought with each other, we protected each other, we helped each other when we were in need. We loved each other. I knew a Zelda.
I loved a Zelda.
I've never been this emotionally invested into any sort of story, and I know this is pathetic as shit, but I tried explaining it my friend and he just thinks I'm fucking weird now. I just needed to say it.
What the hell

yeah
and?
yeah
and?
hi
Felt like saying it. To clarify, I'm not in love with Zelda or some shit.
it's not really something other people need to know, which is why your friend thinks you're weird
So guys. I've been getting this feeling this girl from my course is kinda interested in me. It really sounds strange but I kinda feel she is, you know..
I have already mentioned her some posts ago. (In september or so)
The thing is, she hangs out with this group of friends, mostly gamers and the funny thing is we never talked much before I started hanging around with them much.
So basically, lately I've been noticing she has been paying more attention to me. I usually find her staring at me and smiling. She actually shows me her music and interests. and when I'm alone or with them she usually comes sit next to me. We actually talk a lot.
I don't know what to think of it. I'm not pinpointing any issue here either. But I have this gut feeling she likes me, you know. That she has this genuine interest in me that she doesn't show towards other guys from the group. (She's actually kinda defensive towards them when they start messing with her, except with me. When I make a joke about her or say something funny about her, she laughs).
It's just been a while since I've been involved romantically with someone that I never actually considered getting romantically involved with someone. (not that I'm thinking of making this the case).
It's just like after I broke up with my ex, I've been seeing lots of girls, but I've been feeling kinda numb romantically that I don't even develop any kind of reaction to these kinds of things.
It's been more than a year and I got over my ex in a week. She's actually someone I kinda try to avoid on the streets cause she made my life a living hell on the last weeks of the relationship. Apart from that, it's just like I only want to be alone and at the same time my subconscious is telling me not to go through all the trouble again.
Well, if you're not sure you're romantically ready yet, I would maybe test the waters a bit. Ask if she wants to hang out and do something chill, just the two of you. If it feels off, then don't go with it. Explain the situation to her (if you're 100% sure she's into you), maybe she can help. If you do enjoy it, and it feels right, then continue onward, I'd say.
lol just noticed this
a google search would've saved you from a factually inaccurate statement, and you're calling everyone else uninformed?
Sorry to bring this back up, but there is a difference between the standard fedora and a trilby. Yes, a trilby is a type of fedora, but they are still a different style of hat than the classic fedoras.
Compare it to squares being rectangles, only with a different set of qualities that make it different from other rectangles. I referred to the rest of fedoras as fedoras due to a lack of a better name.
doesn't matter they're both generally awful to wear
That's enough of men's fashion opinions, this is not the place for that, unless there's a guy looking for how to dress around a girl of a certain type, and even then it's her opinion.
So if anyone cares enough, make it a separate thread.

it is an undeniable fact that wearing a fedora or trilby with normal casual clothing is only a sign of a classy motherfucker if you're delusional and still think it's the 1950s
The other day I was on the train and a pack of kids with hunch backs and really nasally voices walked into my carriage. They spent the entire train ride talking and laughing loudly about the Internet and video games; at one point one of them stood up really dramatically and pointed out a friend and was like, "OBJECTION!!!", so let that be an indication of how cool these cats really were. One of them was wearing a Diablo 3 shirt and had a curly jew-fro and wore round glasses (honestly I mean like fucking early Harry Potter days round), and two of them had absolutely awful scruffy neckbeards in varying degrees of disgusting. It was just all so terrible and I had to remind myself that I wasn't half asleep or watching a parody of your typical 'autistic Internet friends' or some shit.
Anyway, the guy at the front of the pack, who walked onto and left the train first, was wearing blue denim jeans, trainers, a t-shirt too small for him, and a Fedora with a small flower on the side of it. He had this nonchalance about him which indicated to me that he was the alpha of this pack.
So basically yeah if you want to wear a Fedora then hey, feel free, but that's the type of shit you're going to be associated with.

love it when i see people like that. it's a great self esteem boost.
The only person that I have seen wearing a fedora was a dude with aspergers that I used to work with. He always tried to have super awkward conversations about videogames with everyone (Portal, Minecraft) He also routinely told people that he worked with that he thought of suicide before, he also talked about murdering people and other stupid shit like that. He also never fucking worked
So I have to agree that I personally don't hold people who wear fedora's in high regard.

i saw someone with a fedora once
his face was an extra-large pepperoni pizza

What the fuck did I just watch?
Lol yesterday in my photography lesson I was talking with all the girls (I'm the only guy in a class of 20) about how much I hate snapbacks.
Completely forgot the girl I kinda like wear a snapback :v:
But hey since it's The Super Friendly Hat Advice Thread what do you guys think of snapbacks
only hip-hoppers should wear them
anyone else is just biting and fronting
Had to Google what the hell snapbacks were, but I'm inclined to agree with you.

a guy i sort-of dated told me after hanging out that he thought girls with moles on their faces were hideous, not realizing i fit this category
I accidentally clicked this thinking it was FULS
I was even more confused when it WAS

It's funny because I'm a massive hip-hop fan
What's fronting?

It's not that. I know I don't feel anything in specific towards her. And frankly this month I have absolutely no time for anything. I'm like swamped with tests and assignments one after the other...
I know how to date n stuff. It's just that a few years back if I knew some nice girl liked me I'd be in the clouds for weeks. Now, It doesn't affect me a bit. It's curious. Just that.

snapbacks are okay but most ppl who wear them are shitlicker fox racing plaid shirt goatee wearing trailer park motherfuckers and so i associate snapbacks w/ them
if you black or you arent trailer trash or 14 then you might be able to pull one off idk
Snapbacks are okay, as long as you don't wear them backwards, tilted up with the tag still on it, and/or resting on top of your head. Sometimes I see people wearing them like that and I just want to poke them off of their heads because of how insecurely placed they are.
