especially when the person staring at you looks like nosferatu
yeah well most normal well adjusted people find being stared at seriously weird
Well adjusted doesnt sound right un that context when evidentily you are not comfy with someonestaring at you...

I look like that, come at me
being well adjusted doesn't mean you don't get freaked out by creepy shit you goon
So you adjusted well to people staring at you, by freaking out? Sure....
i'll be honest, i usually intentionally dress shitty (men's clothes, baggy hoodies etc) because i hate being stared at and my immediate reaction is generally "why are you looking at me is something wrong with my hair" and not "oh i get it, you think i'm aesthetically pleasing"
so i'm almost impressed when someone's persistent enough to gawk anyway
Haha lol, i like u manly now i see what u did there as well
uh?
She's finally gone back to taking notes, holy shit, why are some people so horribly bad at taking social cues
You like to dress like a man on purpose thus mannly, guy....
When people stare at me i smile at them and wave and usually they smile and stop staring or they wave to me
i think it's really flattering :v: but this is probably from my girl friends telling me i look cute
Thas how u do it

Social cues? Yove been completely anti social here, cut the bull.... She cant guess whats on ur mind unless you explicity express it.
I rarely meet a person who can hold eye contact directly for as long as I can, if someone stares I stare back. They usually break eye contact almost immediately and stop staring all together. Its rather fun actually.
Walk down the street some time, look people in the eyes and just see how they react.

Whenever I do that I feel that people think I'm some kind of murderous psychopath. So I don't stare at them, although loads of children look at me all the time, and when I look back they often stare with a more thought provoking stare. It's kind of disturbing that so many younger people look at me like that.

The other day I was in a ice cream place and there was this toddler who looked like he was going to cry soon, so I just looked at him. I didn't make any faces or anything, just maintained eye contact and drank my milkshake.
The toddler was giggling by the time I left. Proudest day of the past month.
i was volunteering once serving icecream and this little elementary schooler(kindergarten maybe) came up to me and gave me $1 dollar(it was $2 dollars for icecream) and looked at me so innocently, gave him one anyways

All of this and I'm so good with children, like, I can befriend any female child that is at least 12, come to think of it I wonder why I find male children so annoying.

And as long as they're not ghetto, just how it's sooo cool to behave jamaican in my neighborhood, everyone behaves like a jamaican, even the europeans. It's so annoying they don't even do it right.
so my friends have this conception that because we're all on the computer, we should play games together
i'm fine with this concept but all I have installed that we all have is League of Legends which I am fucking sick of and they all expect us to still do... something. And it's really annoying since they're getting mad at me when we've had a 10+ game losing streak in League of Legends and I have no intention of losing again and would simply like a break. I have explained this 3 times and they're still getting pissed off. And I don't want to simply just yell at them for obvious reasons, and really any way I do it involves them being more pissed off at me.
Ideas?
i saw "friends" and "league of legends" and immediately knew where your post was going
if you truly care about someone, don't play league with them. it brings out the worst in everyone
its true
though generally i'm quite nice when i'm in league with my friends i am a huge jerk
yell profanities at them
i met my bf in league of legends and part of the reason i was initially into him was because he's the chillest league player i've ever met, neither of us really rage/blame other people and it was the first time i played with someone who didn't try to start shit every time we lost a game. really good attitude
Well I know league strains the fuck out of friendships but it's not even league, it's an expectation set forth that "well we all are on the computer at the same time, let's play a game together."
Which I love to spend time with friends but like there are things I want to do on the computer without them. Which is pretty much any other videogame.
if you want to game with them, maybe you guys could decide on a multiplayer game that you all want to play
if not, maybe you should set yourself to appear offline on steam or something when you're playing single player games. dunno what else to suggest

may i ask you if you two officially have seen each other in person? i think you've mentioned, but i don't remember
i used to play an mmo for a few years, ran into an old friend i knew since i started playing the other week, asked her if she was still with the same guy and it turns out they live together now
i thought it was pretty incredible for them, that they met off of an mmo, stayed together for three years and are now living together
yup, we first met online a year and a half ago and first met in person may of this year. i'm moving in with him in december.

That's a really good way to put it actually. Especially horrifying is when you do a 2v2 with three of your friends. People will very quickly lose their temper and not want to talk for up to an hour after the game.

Also that's pretty awesome, congratulations :3

Id agree with that, I play it with a gang of mates from uni. Ive never taken the game serious but there is one guy who takes everything competitive its kinda sad really but I just usually mute him on TS when hes playing with us.
We should really record his complaining and turn it into a sound board.

Don't feel obliged to play with them, jeez
just tell them you don't feel like it, league of legends is not a good game to play with friends anyway

one of my rl friends used to play wow competitively (and was one of the people who made recount but yeah) and he's told me that there are soundboards of him raging at someone during a raid
but when it comes to playing league with other people, it's generally hard to find people who are tolerable to play with because people either care about how well they do and get mad if their team does something wrong/avoidable, or don't care at all about playing well and just lose every game because they fuck around 24/7. it's hard to find a group who just tries their best but won't get mad at everyone else if they lose anyway

that said i love my vent group and they're chill as hell except when they call me a tryhard because i've had to ask them to get oracles/wards too many times
well we usually have fun with it but not with a 2 week losing streak, nope
half of us have already straight up uninstalled the game
yeah
i had a group of rl friends for a while who i played with but even though some of them were pretty chill they were all ridiculously bad
league stops being fun when you're always playing against teams that are half the average elo you're used to
also it gets annoying playing with people who are pretentious because they usually do well when matchmaking is based on your own skill level

i think i'm derailing too much sry
