- Good evening. How are you doing? ;)
That's such a weird opening line, i hope it's just translated from another language
Well actually it was just "Evening".
And it's common in Finnish.

All is good.
She suggested we'd go meet in the big city central.
And so I agreed due to that there is so much to do over there that we can decide what to do right there and then I we can't come up with anything prior to our date.
And that was just what she had in mind. :v:
She also said that I don't need to shy around because she likes a certain type of straight forwardness.
I hunch that Friday is going to be fantastic.

Haven't had any sexual advances as a pizza delivery driver yet, but some dude offered me a bong rip so its only a matter of time
"guys let me tell you about my really shitty hat that i'm going to wear on a field trip" "NO don't wear that hat" "ok how about this other shittier hat"
Well I know that the girl in question does not detest my style.
For example, my hip young English teacher (all the girls love this guy) at my school decided to try to establish a tradition of "Bow-tie Tuesdays". The first time we had a Bow-Tie Tuesday, no one else had bothered to put one on but me and the teacher. I didn't really want everyone looking at my bow-tie getup all day, so I took it off after his class. Upon entering a class that I had with this girl, she was like "Where's your bow-tie?" And I said "No one else had one so I didn't want to draw too much attention." She said "Why would you of all people stop doing something because no one else is?"
I think I can safely assume that she'll say the same about a lack of hat. She respects my individuality.

A friend of mine worked in a pizza delivery restaurant, he said that it had some advantages. He met a lot of hot chicks and they were really nice to him. Anyway he did not go into detail, seems like a decent job :v:
nobody wore a bow tie because its weird to wear a bow tie to something other than a formal event unless youre literally a scientist
Well I know that the girl in question does not detest my style.
Did you phrase your sentence that way as an attempt to sound smart? Because I'm sure there are a lot of things she doesn't detest.

it is not an excuse for hats

Distinguishing yourself by a individual style is certainly a goal to strive for, being different than the generic and usual fashion styles. But bow ties and fedoras are silly, you are not different than all those others that wear those stuff in order to be different.
There are tons of these guys and honestly they look like shit, because they want to appear classy and different. Only a few have the gift to wear fedoras that fit them.

i delivered pizza for 2 years in high school. all i did was smoke at work, drink at the bar because no one cared and delivered pizza and made awesome tips
i miss that job

Don't knock bowties. Thats some sexy shit.
And fedoras are hard to pull off but can look good but occasionally someone can, and I actually like the type of hat he posted as he was gonna wear.
People have different preferences not all based on the same pre-judgement of a specific type of clothing.
Besides, bowties and fedoras can both be good so long as the person isnt a jackass who things he is classy swag for wearing them, just wears it cause he likes it.
Well, all the people know that that wore fedoras and bow ties were some nerds and people that watched to much "50s gangster movies" or played to much Mafia. I honestly like Fedoras and bow ties, they look absolutely classy. But as a teenager you rather look silly. You need a certain age for such clothing or simply the right look. Just saying.
Although for official festivals or special events it as must have.

Bowties every day is a bit silly but I've known a few people who have worn them to school on random days and it really is not that bad. They weren't trying to be super classy or something, just doing it for the hell of it, as it sounds his teacher was.
So you have a preconseption of what all people who wear fedoras are gonna be like :) I prefer to get to know people. Either way you shouldn't see many people wearing fedoras at school because, call me old fashioned, hats should be off inside. :eng101:
Do not be a smartass. From 10 peoples that wore such things, 7 or 8 looked like shit. I do not want to be rude though. The people might be cool and so on, but the style simply sucks if it does not fit.
I also wore ties and vests at random days, simply because I never wear them that much.
Perhaps at your home, you see a lot of people that look cool. But at my school there were a shitton of those "classy posers".

How many of those people did you actually know? I'm not being a smartass i'm pointing out a social function you have used. One which irks me personally because for many years I was subjected to the negative end of preconceptions and related topics because I wore slightly "gothic" or "emo" clothing. I wore a fair amount of black, wore armwarmers, etc. To be honest my area is a rather homogenous one, especially in middleschool and highschool environments.
Not only was there descrimination from the other kids in the school teachers would treat me differently, and often ask me to remove my armwarmers for no good reason, other than that they were arm warmers which are assosiated with cutting so they made me take them off to make sure I wasn't being an emo.
Rather ironically the way that happened actually made me into what many would actually describe as an emo. What started as a preference in clothing extended to my personality as I got more quiet, didn't like talking to people any more, stuck more to my own social group, eventually became depressed and did actually cut. And for case in point for the incredibly stupid teachers, I wore long sleeves at times when I would have cuts because i'm not stupid. I eventually got into an argument with an assistant teacher that if they wanted me to take my arm warmers off every day then they should be getting every student to roll up their sleeves.
That story just sorta splutter out didn't it? Anyway I guess that treatment makes me a little more defensive of stereotyping of any sort, since I tend to have a different perspective of it.
Well, I try not to be presumptious and superficial, sorry for being offensive. Stereotypes will always be a part of human nature though, that cannot be changed.

Im a fan of meeting a bunch of college girls, although an hour ago I ran into a fellow driver going to the same place, he had a way cooler debit machine and I was like "dude thats way better than mine" and he was all "I know", then he got in his civic which was way more recent than mine and did a sick drift, also he was Asian

i always wear hoodies to school, every day for pretty much my entire life since i moved here. and when i was in middle school i guess my classmates thought i was pretty weird. when i was in science class in 7th grade the guy sitting next to me asked me to show him my wrists, i didn't understand why until a few years later
Well, that guy sounds like an ass anyway.
also i did cut too, through all of high school if i remember right. now i have a tattoo over it though so i'm proud to bare my arms. people look at me with intrigue instead of pity now, and ask me questions about my tattoo instead of just judging me based on what i look like
Well than he was not an asshole but he was right afterall.
no i didn't start cutting until 9th grade-ish. i never self-harmed before then. it was kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy like rhenae's story, people made fun of me a lot and wouldn't really talk to me because i was weird
I think that the most important part is not whether you guys appreciate my individuality, but whether or not she does.
And for the record, everyone forgot on the first week. The next week all of my other friends had their bowties but me and it was actually pretty funny.
Either way, today was Tuesday and no one remembered to wear a bowtie but he and one other teacher who's his friend.
Also, keep in mind that we're both actors. We like to do wackier things that most people avoid doing, and we cherish our own individual styles.
woah watch out wacky wacko actor here
you don't know what he's going to do next!

same only without self inflicted pain
people really didn't talk to me until recently when i became the stallion i am today
i was the weird kid too, it's just i was so self-involved that i didn't even acknowledge anyone's existence outside of our weirdo punk group
then when we got older we all lightened the fuck up a bit and started acknowledging each other.
i don't know what it's like in american schools, but in the UK it was very easy to just disassociate yourself from everyone.
it's the same here
for a while i avoided black shirts altogether because i didnt want to come across as emo
but then i realized a well fit black shirt looks sexy
Well, people think that I am guy because of my style and looks :v:
