Hate to say this ,but the only way I got a kid to stop bullying me was punching him the gut. I really regret it now but the point is don't get violent, unless they are getting violent with you of course. A girl picking on you is really bad situation, I've been in it and the way I stopped it was ignoring her and her texts saying "why do you hate me?" every month for 3 months.
Aah! Texting CWSG is kinda nervewracking! We were talking about our date tomorrow, and she sends me, "I'm curious though, what made you want to get to know me? lol" I send back, "I don't know, you just seem like a good person! It's a bit out of character for me, just asking a girl out, but you really stand out" She didn't reply for, like, ten minutes so I got nervous and tried to make a little joke: "Also you're quite pretty, but if I said that first you'd think I was a chauvinist." And it's been, like, thirty minutes with no reply! Jeez, this lady's got my stomach all funny. <:o|
jesus BDA calm down i'm getting nervous just reading your post.
But "edging on lighthearted neurosis" is kind of my natural state of being when I'm excited.
well you fucked up there BDA. Should have replied with.... "you seem like marriage material"
Do you think it's too early to broach the subject of how we should split rent?
Id just go for what your going to name a boy or girl. Straight to the point and no messing, may aswell find out how much she earns so you can work out a mortgage whilst your at it.
Do you think it's too early to broach the subject of how we should split rent?
stop worrying about how she responds to anything you say. if it takes her a long time, she more than likely just hasn't gotten to it yet, and if she really didn't like what you said (which wasn't at all a bad thing to say) then it isn't much of a loss. just don't worry about screwing things up and know that you're awesome.
text
Fuel on the fire yo Now that you've given her/them rude outbursts on your record, they'll use that as solid ground to be snarky and malicious for as long as you're in school together, from the way you described her. Also if you're a normal person, shouldn't you have your own group of friends and not care that much about this shit?
I'm trying to. It's just the emotions trying to take controll again. I don't want it to happen again. When the emotions take controll a lot of stupid shit gets done.
you wont like me when im eMOTIONAL!!

Well my date (although it was more like a friendly outing) went alright. We went to a small restaurant near the theatre and ate, talked about college and old times and stuff. The movie (21 Jump Street) was pretty good and we both had a good time. I'm not sure if she's girlfriend material or not. On the one hand, she's a huge geek (she has very specific tastes in comic books), she's pretty bright, and she's not bad looking either. On the other hand, she's always really hyper (I'm not) and she's a lot more artistic than I am. So I dunno.
snip
Ignore them, if they continue for quite a while, tell them to stop and if they keep going get physical. The whole point is they want you to not fight back, when you actually do it it is rather surprising.
28 days later.
Hur dur titanic 3-D. [sp] why the fuck did they make titanic in 3D again?[/sp]
I do have my own friends, and I usually don't care, but I've been getting harassed non-stop for awhile now.
Well it's tricky man, I feel for you. If it was a guy it'd be different, but girls like that can be a major headache. Try not to engage if you don't have to. Just be chill. If she comes to put glitter on you, smack the glitter the hell across the room out of her hand. Try not to be super angry about it, just react like anyone would. Walking up and calling her shit or doing anything along the lines of shock factor will not help or make them stop whatsoever, you're playing their game if you do that.
She finally replied, but the rest of the text conversation was confusing and open to heavy interpretation, so I cut it short and told her I'd see her tomorrow. Luckily, this has a simple solution: never text ever.
If hyper and artistic are her cons, I'd say you're doing pretty well.
I don't guess they're cons per se, but they're pretty significant differences. I'm not sure how that'd work out. Also, this girl used to hit me over the head with a book every morning back in middle school. Big hardback books too. If that has any impact on things :v:
Luckily, this has a simple solution: never text ever.
If only it were that easy. V:v:V

Pretty lovey thing to do, tryin' to push knowledge into someone's head. Naive, but lovey.
my phone has been ever so silent for the past couple of hours i'm almost at peace
so my friend in my class often writes on my papers and stuff, drawing things like our initials in a heart and writing "Andrew is the love of my life", so I asked her out, and she said she was joking and that she doesn't like me :smith:
I've kind of gotten myself into a dilemma. Something I thought I would've been invulnerable to. Today, for the first time in my life, I've been bullied. ....
sorry but what grade are you in? to me they sound super immature, I mean the way they were bullying you isn't even funny as one of the bullies, I dont see what even they are getting out of it the whole thing sounds like a bad kids movie
Sorry for the huge wall of text. I just have no idea how to handle a situation like this. I've been patronized before, but never to this extent. What should I do?
your reaction is what fueled them, next time just ignore them.
i mean seriously, they called you harry potter?? and then their comeback for when you called them a cunt was to say "youre cool" wtf that doesn't even make sense
I get called Harry Potter. But that's because my friends think I look like him.
the whole thing sounds like a bad kids movie
yeah, i know i'm a junior in high school i don't really get it [editline]6th April 2012[/editline]
I get called Harry Potter.
daniel radcliffe isn't even a bad looking guy but it's more of a "HA HA, YOU LOOK LIKE A FICTIONAL CHARACTER" type thing
That's okay, I look kind of like the dragon from the NeverEnding Story.
