I don't know any better flaivor than salmiakki. But i guess liking it is same as liking some stinky cheese flaivor. You either love it or then you hate it.
Lakrisal, Djungelvrål, Tyrkisk Peber.
The best! And just so you know, it isn't salted with your everyday Sodium Chloride..
If you want to know what it tastes like I think it's comparable to Jägermeister to some degree.
So uh, guys, is there a place where I can get this amazing stuff, without going to Finland?
Meh, never liked liquorice.
It's fucking amazing, beats most of the "sweet" sweets by far.
I don't like liquorice in the first place.
I've had something like this but it came in a tiny tin and they were small chunks of it. Tasted lovely but easily got stuck in my teeth
where can I get some of this in Canada?
Most people I know here in Denmark love this stuff.
I am Swedish and salmiak is delicious

Salmiak is fantastic, love it.
I could eat it all day.
If they sold it as red licorice I'd eat it.

Black licorice is disgusting.

Hmm. I want to order one pack of HALVA which costs 0.68 EUR. The cheapest shipping to Canada is 3.65 EUR (5.77 CAD). The most expensive shipping option: 93.53 EUR for "super-express". That's almost $150. I wonder if anyone has actually chosen that shipping option.
I'm Going To sweden for the world scout jambouree in 2011, I'll try some then.
If you ever get drunk and somehow end up in Norway, you should really try IFA..

I'd give a handjob for a case of those.
Salty deliciousness

Be sure to try Lakrisal and Salt Liquorice powder, those are the heavy (and most awesome) stuff.
If you live in Toronto, I've found a place that sells Salmiakki. It's called "Milbree Viking" and it's at 133 Laird Drive.

There are some other locations in the area that might sell it, listed here

I'll add that to the OP.

Red licorice isn't real licorice. It's a misnomer. You may as well be eating some other kind of sweet.
I must try this sometime!
I want to taste it but I don't have these at my local store.
Bleh black liquorice is atrocious. I only can stand the red kind that is overly Americanized with loads of sugar.

There's a link in the OP where you can order some.

You could even give a blowjob - The strong licorice will cover up the taste afterward.
