The chamber is further forward than that. It's pretty much the barrel, actually.
Your M16 is broken, they don't fire from an open bolt.
Hmm, actually, the LMG variant does. Somehow.

Makes it cooler, works for extended fire purposes.
stick your finger in there
Too prone to dirt getting in there, I wouldn't want to use it. And wouldn't the time between the trigger being pulled and the round being fired be a lot longer seeing as the bolt has to travel through the chamber?
You know that loads of LMGs are open bolt right? the SAW is open bolt, PKM is open bolt, the FN MAG is open bolt.
Yeah but all of those are belt fed.
I was more addressing tommyc, since it seems like he thinks open bolts straight up suck.

opinions
and i do think they suck.. extremely prone to dust, dirt, water, ect

So just say its one of those but modded.
I was more addressing tommyc, since it seems like he thinks open bolts straight up suck.
They do on magazine weapons, but good luck making a belt fed MG closed bolt.

Ok, that's kind of ridiculous, while some open bolt lmgs are notoriously unreliable(m60s, m249s), it's obvious that open bolt is not the problem because there are many very reliable open bolt lmgs, the best example being the pkm.

you are not gun engineer

its still my opinion
also have a mod lock our pw thread because tark never did his turn; the match is shitty lol
Yes, it is your opinion. I don't think it's a good idea to just throw your completely wrong opinion out there, and then get butthurt when people call you out on it.

They're belt fed so more often than not, a round will be protecting the chamber from dirt.

Oh, quite late then :v:

That actually looks pretty damn cool
just one question, how do you load it
just one question, how do you load it
Maybe you could breach load it.
It appears to be pump action. Each shot one by one?
Pump forward, load under receiver?
It's magic.
They're loaded in the factory
You remove the entire shotgun by the handle and put a new, loaded one, on the grip

It appears to be Break-open.
It appears to be Break-open.
no it doesn't
unless you mean break open by the fact that you can smash it against a wall
