Damn, this layout kept appearing randomly for me for the past month. I kept thinking the page wasn't loading properly because of how ugly and empty it is. A refresh would bring it back to the normal layout, but now everyone's stuck with it

Oh god, I would always hover over a subscription box and disable showing any other activity except for two channels. Now I have a choice of seeing everyone's activity or only uploads. I can't believe they thought this was a good decision

(If you have problems installing a script because chrome is a prick, drag the .js file into the extensions list)
Also if you go to youtube via bookmark and you only want to see what your subs have uploaded, replace the bookmark url with:

These are like the temporary fixes and its working well for me.

The "cleanness" doesn't provide any contrast it makes it feel flat and makes the text look cluttered also it is starting to strain my eyes.
Is there a way to find more videos from an uploader without having to go to their profile?

The most baffling decision, in my opinion, is the removal of the little button next to the channel name. It opened up a menu that had a few dozen videos chronologically before and after the one you're watching. That button made it much simpler to view a series of videos in order. Now, you have to click on the channel name, then find the video from the channel view.
