I would really like this redesign if they made it so the front page, by default, only showed uploads from your subscriptions (and all of them, not just highlights) and centered everything. I like that they got rid of the shitty gradients on the player and that you can now hide videos in your subscriptions if, you viewed them already, instead of them just turning grey, but that's just putting a feature back in that Cosmic Panda cut out.

I think the actual design is... okay? It's not better than what's been traditional for years, it feels more "Apple-esque" in how they tried to simplify it but it ended up looking stupider and more convoluted. The new front page is just a clusterfuck, though. Not to hop on the IT WAS FINE HOW IT WAS bandwagon or whatever, but it really seriously was fucking fine how it was this time, Youtube

I just hate now that I have no choice but to see the reccomended videos list as it's integrated with the subscriptions list.

Why doesn't YouTube make these layouts optional, the last one was perfect. It was instant, fast, and nice. This one looks like shit, runs like shit, and is shit in general. It's bad that it's forced.

I almost want to just team up with some people and use the api to make our own youtube pages.

But really, the fuck, this is like, web design 101, you have to centre your bloody site, not left justify it. I mean, holy shit, I had teachers get on my case about things not being centred in high-school.
