gamestop got my son pregnant
LOL NO, they fail, they remove the price like, 50%(or more) so like, if you had a 20$ game, they'd pay you like, 5/10$ for it, gamestop needs a better buiseness [editline]03:29PM[/editline]
Sorry bro, but making a high profit off of used games is a good business. I think you need to learn that corporations don't exist to spit out rainbows and unicorns

Better question: What games was OP trading in?
Shit happens, get over it you baby.
Better question: What games was OP trading in?
probably 3 copies of haze
I find the local shops offer you better prices to compete with gamestop. Try one of those.
Local shops? Like what?
Local shops? Like what?
Random shops people made themselves, not enormous company's.
Everyone knows Gamestop does this shit. They always have. I remember when I was in middle school I traded in some PS1 games so I could buy MGS2. They gave me 10$ for all of them (it was a quite a few games too, so I was getting maybe 1$-2$ for each of them), and then I found out later that Gamestop sold some of those games for 30$ used. Even worse, one of the games I traded went for $200 in Ebay auctions, in 2001 dollars. Gamestop rips you off if you trade in games any older than a year. then they rip other people off by selling them for almost as much as you'd pay at Best Buy for a new copy. The only reason I still go anywhere near a Gamestop is because you can find some gems in the used games section.
Gamestop sucks because they couldn't solve the problem of my never-ending virginity.

I get a better deal and so do they. I only use Gamestop to reserve games now since that's all their good for. Then again, on the flipside, they made me drive 25 miles out of my way to pick up a copy of DR2 for the PC because one of their dumbass employees decided to give me a 360 version instead.
I laugh so hard at people complaining about how much GS gives for games. That is the way they make their money. Used shit, not new. Get used to it. Don't like it? Don't shop there. They have plenty of people trading and buying games. Generally people who sell/trade games to GS are ignorant. They just don't know any better.
I get £1 a week. So OP, make fucking do and suck it up. I learned I can earn money, you will too.
Gamestop is not EB Games..... [editline]11:41AM[/editline] Disreguard that.
Spell check
Guess whos time of the month it is! And you don't need to start accusing just because you have one bad encounter. And it's not Gamestop that sucks, it was that guy. There are dicks in this world. Believe it or not.
I love Gamestop, but they should really go with prices similar to Steam's and add at least three times more PC games to their inventory at the stores.
You know that because Steam is digital theres no publishing cost for the developers to sell their games through the Steam platform, its common knowledge.
Ok so, i wanted Dead Rising 2 for my PS3 so i could play with my friend and stuff, so i had 3 ps3 games i wasnt playing anymore and i decided to go to EBgames(which is also gamestop) and i brought them to front desk and stuff, the guy started making a bunch of excuses to not let me trade, i got pissed off and me and my dad decided to go back home, i waited 1 day to go their, and now since i don't have enough money, it'll have to wait ti'll christmas, Gamestop is a pack of shit. never going their again.
And stuff.
Put it up for trade on Gooxex. That way you can get some old games for a good deal.
Won't stop me from applying there.
every shop that buys used shit ever doesn't pay much for your product this is not something unique to gamestop, go sell you shit on ebay or craigslist if you care so much about getting a good price
I used to buy all my games at eb games......but then i realized steam is infinitely better. if it's a game i really care about though i still go out and buy the box and blah blah.
No shit gamestop sucks, you bring them a new game you bought last week and give you 14 dollars for it. They rip you off so hard its ridiculous.
gamestop games are overpriced and only idiots who can't find a real game store go there. [editline]09:46PM[/editline] it's like buying movies at blockbuster, or buying clothing at walmart.
I remember a while back I subscribed to these guys who did video game reviews. One of them worked at gamestop for a year and decided to make a video about people on youtube complaining about Gamestop. I don't remember who they were but I do remember the reason why they give you games for cheaper and then resale them at a higher price. Here's the reason why. During a study of the buisness, they came across a surprising statistic. Apparently, almost everyone would turn back in their games, and get money in for full price. This caused less income coming towards their way. *GASP* SO YOU KNOW WHAT THEY DID? They let you have $10 for a trade in because you bastards just don't give them away to someone else, or decide to sell them elsewhere. So you know what, it's the consumers fault, not theirs. The truth hurts, but it all boils down to the consumer being cheap asses. [editline]10:36PM[/editline] So deal with it you annoying, and uneducated, 13 year old.
Makes total sense.
Hey idiot, above post.
Hey idiot, above post.
hey no need to flame
hey no need to flame
It's just sick and tired of these people constantly bitching and whining without doing any research or actually looking into the matter.
