I got it
But he's so bad that I can't tell the difference
So I don't get why this is funny when I can just laugh at his regular music.

Fuck sakes gnome you have to be trolling, unless you're gaining a kick out of being a total blithering idiot?
The crying made me laugh :v:
But what the fuck is up with gnomes comments lol "Uhh guys? I don't understand the comedic value in this?? Therefore it's not funny and you should all thinks it's unfunny make me ur god im so smart and understand comedy"
Uhhhhmmm okay
Sorry for insulting your tastes or whatever, I am a huge fan of hip-hop and humor has often been an aspect in the genre for ages, but this is something of a different creature. Like I've never been into novelty music (humorous music without much musical value), because even though it makes me laugh I listen to music for the music. That's what I'd compare these artists to.
I could also tell you why I think their beats are poorly conceived and produced, but I'm not really here to sway your opinion. Whether or not you like these guys, I'm sorry, but that was not my definition of a thrilling rap battle.
That is all.
That being said I did laugh my ass off at this, even though I wasn't impressed at any one point in time.
This isn't King of the Dot, dude. DNA's not going to come out and spit some shit. It's not supposed to be impressive.
All right fine, you guys win, I'm dumb cause I can't tell the difference between fake swag and real swag
Unless you are trolling stop saying swag

Yeah, I definitely said all that.
Unless you are trolling stop saying swag
No.
I never troll, I am real about swag.
That Supa Hot Fire guy isn't even a real rapper.. He's only known from these rap parody videos.
See, thank you, this is the kind of useful information that could be put into the op.
There was never any indication other than them both being bad. And since it's already been agreed upon ages ago that Soulja Boy is in fact a terrible rapper I don't really see anything I should feel bad about.
I got called a "fucking idiot" one post in, so obviously I'm going to stick around and ride it out.
All aboard the gnomesane train

Wow you seem such a wanker, I presumed better from an '05er...I guessed wrong
Man just learn to accept some types of comedy, if you find it funny, feel free to comment on how funny it is, if not? Fuck off! No one gives a flying toss about your aimless insults to how smart you are in comparison to the comedy of the video, which makes you look like an asshat.

First of all it's a bad sign to begin with that you make an assessment of anybody based on their join date.
Second of all I haven't been promoting my intelligence at all, really just defending my initial mistake because I thought it was pretty reasonable. The fact that you are this angry about it really just tickles me at this point. It started out sounding like you were a butthurt Souja Boy fanboy because I didn't "get it" yet, so I tried to playing that angle. Now you're just mad about me not getting it, assuming I have some sort of crippling malfunction in my intelligence because I couldn't initially grasp the irony of Soulja Boy.
I would've left it at "oops I was wrong" if you didn't have such an angry outburst to begin with. You sound like a right cunt yourself, is this how you talk to people in real life? You say "aimless insults" when you've already called me an idiot five times, and I don't think I've called you anything until this very post.
but yeah like I already said, you were right, somebody else took the time to let me know that it was satire in an informative manner. You've just been tossing around unfriendly remarks the entire time
Basically you just identified the rap corollary to Poe's Law, which should henceforth be referred to as the Soulja Maxim:
Without an explicit display of irony, satirical shitty rap by a shitty rapper will be mistaken for unintentionally shitty rap.
I had to look away at multiple times because those burns were too hot
I love the "Andoverherewehavesouljaboy"
I had no idea what was going on but it made me laugh

Fanboy?! Mate I fucking despise music by Soulja Boy, I've never listened to his tracks (as a fan), I was just trying to let you know that your point was incredibly up your own ass-ish, to be fair.
I mean for fucks sakes it took you half the thread to tell you that the video was satire whilst you protected your powerful self proclaimed intelligence.

No, see, you're constantly misunderstanding me. I assumed your powerful reaction could only be that of somebody who strongly wishes to defend Soulja Boy, but realized otherwise once I, yes, finally figured out that the video was after all satire. The video didn't make this obvious (because it wasn't far from what I would expect if it were serious), and I'm assuming that you only knew that it was because you've seen the previous 4 videos. Your powerful reaction to my very first comment is what's driving this entire thing.
It took me half the first page because nobody cared to point it out politely, so it was more important to me to point out that you are being quite an asshole. I mean, why are you so mad anyway? It's kind of absurd
I never said I was smart, but you can keep shoveling words into my mouth if you want.
I'm outie 5 so carry on

Are you fucking serious have you ever seen a rap battle where one of the rappers tears up and the crowd is that overexcited? It's painfully obvious it's satire.

I must have missed the tearing up part honestly, and yeah the overexcited part I would expect from this vein of hip hop
Sorry for ruining your thread, br0

Really, you would expect that much hype? Have you even seen any proper rap battles, that much hype is the kind of shit you'd see in Dance Flick or Scary Movie not a proper rap battle, even one with Soulja Boy.

I have seen proper ones, and usually people keep quiet while the rappers rap, but when they actually say something worth value that hits hard the crowd might go nuts for a second. I just mistakenly assumed that the overly flamboyant nature of this type of stuff and the lower standard of value for lyrics (and how many syllables constitutes a rap stanza) meant that this was serious.

Well that was a pretty stupid assumption to make.

I hung around someone for a long time who listened to Lil B a lot (and The Pack, the group he's in), and that's left a lasting impact on how much I ever expect from that type of music.

Lil B is also joking btw, his music is nowhere near serious.

I learned that much when he started putting out songs where he talks about being different famous celebrities. But it's also one of those things I consider a blurred line, where I had friends who would "get into it" as if it was something legitimate. It's like they found the humor in it, but treated it as a form of lyrical wit.
Is he not serious when he's in The Pack, though?
everybody shut the fuck up and kiss me
the first one was better because supa hot fire won no matter how good the other guy's bars were. meh this is what happens when you try to do a sequel

but lil b is good and is probably the best rapper of our generation.
p much the greatest lyrics are from god's father mix tape:
"Call me Obama Based God, call me Obama Based God
...A-Rod!
I'm overseas like Jaysean
Call me Daddy Yankee
Fucking bad bitches
Yankee, Yankee Based God
You hating on me that's not my problem
We living in a world where people talk shit
Suckas kiss ass, and they hoes suck dick
I don't gotta problem with a ho sucking dick
But she better be clean when she suck my shit
Niggas get mad cause I talk a little shit
I don't even care"
See, now Supahot Fire has to work his way up the ranks to become the best ever one again and take solja boy down.
and the mini boss is lil b
My god if they ever get lil b on this it will be amazing

it needs to be as outlandish as possible. maybe him rapping while holding his cat keke in his arms.
I lost it when they ripped the dollar bill in half and you just hear some guy in the back going "Awh that's a McDouble"
