I used to be one of those people. And although I still don't think it's THAT funny, (some parts can be) I still think the show is highly entertaining.

This. Some parts of the show are a little hard to see why it would be funny, but yeah for the most part I thoroughly enjoy the series.
I even forgot that i had Volumes 1-7 on DVD.
I`ll admit, I am amazed.
