Cool, I love looking at your 1100x500 pixel picture of an entire city, I can see so much detail. Definitely not worth uploading the high resolution picture, Its stupid to be able to See Things
Learn to appreciate an image for the entirety of its aesthetics. Why do you need to see every literal detail? Got sperg? As pointed out, non-pro flickr accounts won't display more than 1024 anyway.

When I do post panorama, I usually just upload it to my dropbox to allow the larger sizes.
All you do is shit post, get out.
How can you have a true appreciation for a photograph unless you are able to see the subject matter?
I don't need to see anything, but then again he took the picture for someone to see something, and that something is something I don't see, because the picture is fucking tiny
Stop getting overworked over something, we can sort this out. And, stop arguing with people who've been here for awhile already. We know Also, looking through all my concert photos a few are blurry, agh. That's what i get for being stuck to <1/50 throughout the entire time :saddowns:
Look, I'm sorry about this. I never meant to be an asshole. To make it up to you, I'll show you guys a piece of my own work, since this is the Photography thread and it would be kinda rude not to post any photography. so here goes Hope you like it!!
Alright, we just discussed the fact with images sizes. Stop trying to prove your point by overdoing the stupid thing. You're just making yourself look bad, and causing your reputation to be shit.
I don't need to see anything, but then again he took the picture for someone to see something, and that something is something I don't see, because the picture is fucking tiny
Plenty of detail for me, quite a few interesting/recognisable features in it . Grouse Mountain, Science world, Wall Center,Vancouver Lookout are pretty visible, and you can tell it's Vancouver, if your that Anal about something insignificant like size, you're not really finding any real criticism.
Alright, we just discussed the fact with images sizes. Stop trying to prove your point by overdoing the stupid thing. (User was permabanned for this post ("Troll" - daijitsu))
wow you guys just fell right into his trap didn't you
I wanted to argue, not my fault. Anyways, didn't flickr have larger photo sizes for all members before? Or is my thinking just off.
I thought flickr allowed you to designate whether original size was available to view and whatnot, haven't used it in a while now. Anyways, went on a bit of a hike up a small Wisconsin mountain ("mound"?) yesterday for fun. Dragged the girlfriend up to the hidden path that leads to the deserted scenic overlook at the peak did some research, it's "Bell Mound". Elevation, 1,200 ft with a 1/4 mile current winding path; you skip the last part to walk about 30-40 degrees up along its ridge for the second half of the height instead of going to the current overlook patio down on the side. A little backstory, the first time I climbed this place and discovered the hidden path, I came across a man named Abraham. He looked like Latir Cole, talked like a wise old Native American, and when I found him he was meditating with a crystal skull.

Anyone? no? okay
sweet, set up stuff on my 500px finally gotta dig through my archive and start building the portfolio soon
500px is sooooooooooooooo much better than flickr community wise!
I took this about 20 minutes ago: Sorry for the general messyness of the image, but I didn't give a shit just then because I've never seen the Northern lights be this bright.
so beautiful. I wish I could see them here. [editline]23rd January 2012[/editline] Sorry to ask in this thread, but is anyone willing to buy a used Sigma 50mm 1.4 for around $300 AUD? I've been using it for a while now and I've decided I want to go with the wider 30mm 1.4 instead. I'd say it's in pretty great condition, no scratches, just a bit of dust. The bigger downside, and why I'm selling it cheaper for, is that the focusing is off by a bit. So unless you have a body that can micro-adjust the lens to +18, I wouldn't bother.
Decided to jump into a 365. I think i may have opened up a can of worms regarding it though. 1.365 by marley h
Excited :) Remember it doesn't matter if you fall behind or stop completely, it's achievement to even get a week done for a project like that and you will surely grow as a photographer.
well i can say blazefresh you're off to a good start
