Love that bokeh, skin tones look a little off though.
Thanks, i tried sorting it out but i found that my face and the floor is mostly blue. I was freezing, that might be why i look pale :v: anyhow any advice on making the skin tones look more natural is appreciated, then i can get my skin tones in future looking dapper.

When you're taking the non-subject surrounding pictures, do you physically move on a horizontal plane? Or do you just turn the camera, such as being on a tripods tilt head?

Shot a small gig the other night, the lighting was terrible so everything looked better in black and white. Tried a bit of exposure offset here, think it was a bit too much. And I'm really starting to feel the limitations of my 1000D, this is a 100% crop from the above dear god the noise and this is at F1.4, 1/50 I think with 1600 ISO I can't wait until I can afford a 60D
I think the noise adds to the feel of it
Was bored at school today: -floaty pic-
brilliant!! only niggle is that your face seems a little blurred but other than that this is great man! also, inspiration has struck for the first time in about a week!! also, any thoughts on the formatting? i figured it beat the standard flickr links spaced 2 lines apart [editline]1st February 2012[/editline]
I think the noise adds to the feel of it
agree 100%! its a really great shot man, you should be proud! has a real moody feel to it which is really good.
Noise works well with B&W images... for colour, the noise reduction in Lightroom is really quite good.
