My dad said something really heart warming today. - General

I'll upload a small photo of him in the morning, can't access it right now. (He looks very mafia'ish)

Reading this almost made me cry. My dad is pretty hard on me and because of it, I sometimes rebel. I guess my dad is just hard on me because he wants me to live a better life than he did. This weekend is a long weekend, so ill spend extra time with my father.

Basically your dad is a dick and im sorry to say this but he is a alcoholic and the best thing you can do for yourself and for him is to be forward to him about it! Tell him you don't want him to be like that and that if he carries on the way he is he is going to lose you and your younger sister

Ugh, my dad's an asshole. He gets all pissed of when things don't go "all good" for him. He even threatened to kill me when I wasn't doing well at school (while he was choking me) and as a plus, he was sober at the time There's a whole lot of things I'd like to list but I'm afraid he's going to be looking at what I'm up to now You people are lucky to have a person you can call "dad". Mine is a control freak and has anger management :(

Though even if your dad did some questionable stuff back in the days, this proves that he's a good man. As you said, he's getting old. You should spend more time with him. Where was he from originally? And somehow it is always hard to see your old man cry. Fuck, this brings back some memories.
