main AC voice acting has always been pretty bad
not this bad it sounded even more like they were reading off of a script than ever rather than just bad voice acting or bad scripts like their awacs sounded way worse than i dunno lets say thunderhead from 5 like personally the old voice acting wasn't bad it was just really really ham and cheesy
I still hope they will someday present PS2 era HD collection alongside too.
Fucking this. I'd love to replay 5 and zero. I never played 4 and I'd be delighted to given the chance with the very strong reception it had.
OMFG There goes $600 for a PS4. It'd be nice if this next game is back in strangereal. PLS be in STRANGEREAL!!!!! I wonder if it'll be back in Usea or will it be a new location? (Recta? Southern states south of Yuktobania?) btw, anyone following the fictional Anean conflict? (3 weeks till Invasion of Bartolomeo Fortress)

The adversaries in the trailer were Erusean (enemies in AC4, the country is in Usea) and Osean (protagonists from 5). I wish there was a twitter account or something that posted daily updates on the conflicts in real time, like there's for real world history.
I used to really like ace combat back in the PSX days, but after spending lots of time in DCS I kinda just gringe hard. :(
You're essentially comparing COD to ARMA here. You play each game for drastically different reasons.
Holy fuck I'm so goddamn happy right now. Guess I'm finally doing that marathon of AC games to finish the ones I never got around to finishing :v:.
[t]http://cdn3.dualshockers.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/ACE_PSX_SS_f18f_002_1449344304.jpg[/t] "USS Theodore Roosevelt" PLEASE BE A PLACEHOLDER TEXTURE
What IF. The skydiving plattform is some kind of teleporter? Like in the movie Contact? And she travels from Strangereal to the real earth. That's why we have the OSEAn F22 against the fighters of the USS Roosevelt. Oh god that would be the most retarded thing ever. :v: (Nah, it's placeholder, I am just kidding)

I want a remaster of 4, 5, and Zero still
That's dumb IMO, gonna lose out on a lot of sales by making it a VR helm exclusive, doubt that even a quarter of the PS4 community owns one.
I bet you any money that way more than 25% of the PS community will own a PSVR headset
I want a remaster of 4, 5, and Zero still
I'm waiting for a translation of Electrosphere.
Also it sounds like they plan on having good music from the PR statement
That blurb is pure marketing and means nothing. Has it been confirmed anywhere that Keiki Kobayashi is doing the music for AC7? He left Bandai Namco a year ago so it's possible he's not doing AC7.

There's nothing stopping Namco from hiring him to compose music and it would be easy considering he probably still has connections there. I'd say chances are good
keiki kobayashi wasn't the only important person working on the soundtracks either
According to Famitsu: -The trailer was in rendered in realtime in UE4 -Keiki Kobayashi is back -Story is being directed by the person who wrote Ace Combat 4's cutscenes (Also assisted in AC5) -Goal in development is to add more ways to complete missions -Clouds are rendered in 3D and you can fly through them -They want the gameplay to revolve around pilot maneuvers rather than doing a finishing move by pressing one button (seems to imply that DFM is gone) -Confirmed to take place in Strangereal http://blog.hokanko-alt.com/archives/47147449.html

Wow, a lot of Japanese devs are moving to UE at this rate.
Wow, a lot of Japanese devs are moving to UE at this rate.
It offers a pretty good deal for both small and big developers and saves them from having to pour money into R&D for their own engines. Square Enix seems to be moving away from their in-house Luminous Studio engine since both the Final Fantasy 7 remake and Kingdom Hearts 3 both run on UE4. Everything I've heard about Luminous' development and toolset sounds like a nightmare.
That was some hilariously bad PS1-tier voice acting

I'm at a loss for words, I'll feel like a kid again when it comes out.
