Fuck Facebook, I have Steam and I can just talk to people in real life too, if they had the balls to talk to me instead of hiding behind a computer screen or a cellphone.
why do people need balls to talk to you is it because you can't talk to girls?
Facebook is actually good, everybody should use it
I don't use it because I just don't feel the need. I certainly would if I needed to. I have no objections about Facebook, it's just I use msn/skype for everything I would use Facebook for.
I'm just too damn camera shy.
If I want to contact my friends, I can use a Phone. I only use FaceBook when TigerDirect has it's sweepstakes.
I don't hate facebook, I just don't need to use it when all my talkative friends are on Steam anyway.
I have an account, but rarely go on. If I need to contact someone, I use my phone, Xfire, or Steam.
I don't see why people hate Facebook so much, it gives you the ability to fuck with everyones personal information, tell their mother about them being a furry, or anything else great like that.
i just don't understands how people abstain from using facebook. phones are great, talking in person is better, but facebook is also good. it makes it so much easier to keep in touch with people that go overseas - too hard to do with only a phone
Those of you who don't have Facebook are truly ruining society. You don't know how hard it is, when you meet a new person in real life and you start getting to know each other better (especially if it's a girl), and when you go to exchange Facebooks, it turns out she's a hipster because she hasn't moved up to Facebook yet.
my cousin is one of those kids that is a die hard my space fanboy and won't make a facebook. Pretty ridiculous since myspace caters to middleschoolers
Facebook is a fad like every other social networking site before it that failed In a few years something else will show up and like rats off a sinking ship everyone will leave Facebook
At this point that is pretty much impossible for Facebook to fall or become replaced by another social network. Bear in mind that the only other major social network before it was MySpace, but even that was nowhere near as popular as Facebook, and MySpace was only used by 13-14 year old emo teenagers even in it's prime, but EVERYONE has a Facebook now.
The only thing FaceBook is good for is finding long lost families, like that one special on the Maury show Some chick found her sister.
Well, there are hipsters, then there are people who don't want another distraction. Personally, I just grabbed one and I use it once a week for thirty seconds...
lul, here a pic of me XD duckfaec i so rnadum omg black and white lol so unique~~
If you haven't noticed, the pretty much all girls who don't have Facebook accounts are either: - psycho/in trouble with the law - ugly/fat - village bicycle - no friends - some combination of the above

I'm going to college soon. It's nice to have Facebook to keep in touch.
I don't see why people hate Facebook so much, it gives you the ability to fuck with everyones personal information, tell their mother about them being a furry, or anything else great like that.
I added you on facebook months ago but I can't remember why. I like your status updates though!
Personally, one thing that I have always wanted is to make an online forum that would have all of my real life friends on it, and we would all post and just chill out and stuff. Unfortunately most of my friends don't know what a forum is, so thus Facebook is the next best thing since everyone I know in real life has an account (except one of my grandma's since she doesn't know how to work a computer). My dead cousin even has an account.
I'm a Facebook whore. [editline]18th April 2011[/editline]
Personally, my biggest qualm with social sites is it goes against everything I was ever told about the Internet. I was born into a gaming family - and an MMO gaming family at that - and so I've been told for as long as I can remember that anonymity is your best friend, and that you should never put out personal information on the Internet. And then social sites came along which are just that - putting your personal information on the Internet. So it kinda goes against everything my parents ever taught me about the Internet. :v: (Plus, on that note, remember that Facepunch user who stole that money from the other person who was struggling to get by, and how quickly Facepunch was able to find him - the strongest link being his Facebook page? Shit is scary man. :ohdear:)
That's why you set privacy options on your Facebook.
because she hasn't moved up to Facebook yet.
It's pretty pathetic that you'd consider that grounds for disassociating yourself from someone. I mean, what, is creating a Facebook account some rite of passage or something?
I'm a Facebook whore. [editline]18th April 2011[/editline] That's why you set privacy options on your Facebook.
you have no real privacy your data is at the mercy of many people
I don't use it. Period. I have my reasons not to and they're not related to the OP.
ITT: Pompous cunts.
What, they can use facebook but can't send emails?
facebook simplifies everything. from sending of photos, to private messaging. you send by name, not by email
