The past seems better through our eyes because they had different problems back then, I am glad that we live in the present because I have an addiction to the computer and internet, so I could not be easily separated from it. But I agree, people were much friendlier, and the music was better. I remember Cartoon network Saturday cartoons, I wish we still had them the old fashioned way as well.
i agree with you one hundred percent. what's with all these fagtastic gangters? they aren't cool, they're lame. now be honest, how much do we get to see a guy in a trench coat with a cigar in his mouth holding a tommy gun anymore? NEVER! and it would be the shit if pirates weren't so gay, gosh, if i could just here 'aye matey' in real life....not to mention the people we fought our wars with were much more civil, i mean that in the respect that they didn't live in a shithole hut, but rather a nice house with a nice view. i guess you could say this is ranting, but i totally agree with the OP. oh, and before i forget, weapons, old weapons are so much cooler then the weapons we have today. i'd rather use a garand then a m16 any day.
