Gay Chat V11 - Were you expecting something funny? - General

Do you guys ever feel awkward saying like "My boyfriend" or "my girlfriend" (assuming there are lesbians here) even when you're talking to people who know and accept that you're gay. I just feel so awkward saying it. It's because i fear that people are going to think that im someone who mentions that i'm gay non-stop. Even though i rarely ever say it. Its just a fear that i'll be seen like it.

Otherwise it's not your problem it's the person who gets annoyed by it. Having said that, yes. Yes I very much do feel awkward saying boyfriend. Not that I get the opportunity much on account of not really ever having one. What is more awkward is my mother asking me if a guy was my new "bo" and I had to be like "What is a bo???" As long as you spend money you can spare it's just as good as going to a movie or an art gallery, with slightly more chance than zero of coming home and being able to own the movie theatres or the art gallery. I don't gamble in video games for real money though, but I can see the principle applying.

Ughh, I have to interview victims and witnesses of a crime, but I doubt any of them will talk to me since i just learned the crime might be drug/gang related. One just got back to me and said no. :sigh:

I need to stop taking days off from class I can't afford. Alternatively, I should stop being too depressed to go to class.

Although, its mainly because I feel dizzy and hungover for my 8 AM class, despite not drinking. Its really hard to wake up and I feel like shit for most of the day. However, being half there for a class like Reverse Engineering is like performing surgery while being drunk so I barely understand what's going on. So I'm doing poorly on homework, which takes a huge impact on my self-esteem and so I feel even less inclined to go to class and the self loathing just starts perpetuating itself.

There's a difference between that and then talking about dicks and boys all the time and making sure that everyone knows you are gay. Also coming out isn't pointless. The goal of coming out isn't make it a theatrics show, its to be able to comfortable in your own skin around other people. If we lived in an ideal world coming out wouldn't even have to be a thing - you could just be gay and nobody would care and there would be no fear about it. It also about being able to be comfortable about being out around complete strangers.

Well, I thought about it for a bit, but I think I'm definitely going to come out to my family sometime. Maybe not this year, or maybe not even the next, but it's definitely on my list, when I'm a little more independent, have my own place, and all that. Gives me enough time to figure out how to go about it.

Sometimes I just go to class for about 30 mins and then leave because I'm too depressed.

shrooms are like another way to get drunk for me. They take about 4 hours to kick in and im sober within an hour of them hitting me and i get no visuals.

My drugs days are all but over. Mainly just weed for me.
