Life has been far too busy. But I'm back for the weekend. How are you fantastic people doing tonight?
Doin' well, still recovering from my week long illness :v:
I mean eh, i'm alright. Accidentally took a nap for longer than i wanted. I'm off work for a week and despite the fact that i'm doing what i usually do as if i had work, it's still nice to just have time to do nothing and not worry about something for a bit. So i'm just hanging around, went shopping yesterday. Didn't buy any clothes because fuck the prices they were, i could find cheaper. Did however manage to find some clove cigarettes when i was out which is something i've been wanting to try. Or rather, clove 'cigar's as they have to be now to circumvent a us ban on them.
Sigh... sent 2 more messages on OKC today, no responses. Now people aren't even viewing my profile -_- [editline]8th November 2014[/editline] i'm gonna end up messaging every adventurous cute guy within 50 miles of me and run out of potential people D:
Why do people hate oatmeal raisin cookies? It's like having a bowl of cereal in the morning only its sweeter and more chewy. [editline]8th November 2014[/editline] On another food note, I cooked and ate some kangaroo meat today c: It tastes like lamb but a bit more earthly, I've never had anything like it.
This sucks. I'm have to go to a birthday for my cousins on the side of my family I don't like this Sunday. Balls.
extended family events in general suck if you ask me. They feel forced a lot and most of the time people don't wanna be there but have to 'because family'.

My experience with it was verrrryyyy slow.
Why do people hate oatmeal raisin cookies? It's like having a bowl of cereal in the morning only its sweeter and more chewy. I've never eaten it because we feed it to our cat so to me it's cat/dog food.
extended family events in general suck if you ask me. Really the only person who doesn't get along super well is my younger brother and I and that's because we don't really try (we have a million people on that side of the family and I know about 12 names). I love extended family events because it means food. So much food. The other side of my family is ok as well because there are so few of them so I know their names. A little more awkward though because they're all older. [editline]9th November 2014[/editline] Also I packed my bag for my trip later this month (holy cow less than two weeks almost :D). It weighs 7kg exactly, fits a sleeping bag, big -30 degree celcius jacket, towel, a pair of jeans, warm hat and gloves, underwear two shirts (one fancy and one not) and thermal underwear. Socks too. Also a belt. And some other stuff. I'm impressed I fit it all in 7kg and within 54x38x26cm (just, technically it's 30cm deep but I can squish it to make it smaller if someone complains, or just take out some clothes and wear them).
What other good dating sites are there that just aren't for hookups? I've run out of adventurous cute guys to message on OKC D:
None that I know of! In fact it's probably the very fact that OK Cupid isn't really for hookups that makes it so slow. I feel like people who are on hook up apps are a certain kind of gay person and there is a reason the more successful apps are hookup ones for gay people. The people who aren't interested in hookups via apps are involved in a real world community that lets them meet gay people whenever they want so the intelligent, successful and driven people don't actually have those apps or apps geared more toward relationships either - they don't need them. I think finding the right friends is the most important thing. They don't have to all be gay (wouldn't hurt) but just one or two other people involved in the local lgbt community should do it. This strategy made me a friend who was the most similar to me in all sorts of things (except... idk how to describe it he was a conservative person I guess, didn't want to go into a sex shop with me or talk about anything gay at a restaurant for example). We ended up stopping being friends because we argued a whole tonne and he hated it and that annoyed me so one day when I was grumpy I was pretty rude to him and he stopped being friends. Despite that, the closest match I have ever had without internet at all. Anyway. I'm still working it out. But I think there is a good strategy if you delete the apps/stop using internet, find and make friends with the right people (probably the hardest part), when you finally have the friendships down, go ahead and re-install the apps / start using interenet again and then only meet with people for non-sex things. Which will be very rare. But the ones who do want to meet, no matter what they look like or how they act on the app will be probably the more interesting people anyway. The time I had the least expectations going to meet someone from an app I made one of the greatest friends I've ever had and it's pretty much that reason I can't discount them as valueless.
last night was fun but ow my head
I'm finally getting a new office chair, after my last one broke. Not that great if the lean was missing.

Piercings? Less is more. They still gross me out but that's just me. I also really hate cucumber but who's asking.
