who the fuck is charlie?
It's a metaphor.
now seems like as good a time as any to start watching always sunny
ty for advice gay fp
literally one of the best shows, first season's good but not nearly as good as the rest- it's a show that actually gets better every season (S2 also introduces Danny DeVito's character and it just makes everything 10x better), unlike near enough all comedy shows
I've watched the lot about 3 times. #1 show.
There's a lot of content when the premise is a bunch of inept lowlifes with no real obligations in regards to time, money, or their personal lives.
We're talking about It's Always Sunny?

The Wire - Stories about the drug trade, gang wars and corruption of the police in Baltimore, Maryland.
House of Cards - Kevin Spacey and his quest for power on capitol hill.
The Sopranos - Story of a mob family in northern New Jersey.
Breaking Bad - A man cooks meth to secure his families future after being diagnosed with lung cancer.
Boardwalk Empire - Steve Buscemi produces bootleg booze during the prohibition era and gets into lots of trouble.
If you're looking for something funny...
Trailer Park Boys - The adventures of three lovable idiots in a Canadian trailer park.

The Wire is my favorite show of all time. I loved it from start to finish.
Also consider Star Trek: The Next Generation and The X-Files for some great slow burning 90s drama/philosphical shows with a touch of action that were very ahead of their time.

House of Cards is amazing, it's made by Netflix and it's better than it sounds if you can follow along the drama.
Well this weekend was probably one of the best of the semester. My college had a "pub night" where they served $1 beers. Me and everyone over 21 went down to that, while everyone under 21 stayed in my apartment and played video games.
After 3 hours of drunken dancing at the pub night we returned, everyone was so drunk and we played rock band until 3:30 AM. I didn't realize how drunk I was until the next day when my roommate told me something I did, that I have no memory of. :v:

I've been watching Lilyhammer on Netflix recently and it's pretty rad. It's put me onto mob-related media. Watching Goodfellas right now.
It's about an American gangster who immigrates to the town of Lillehammer in Norway on witness protection, and gets down to some organised crime. I like watching modern TV shows based in foreign-language countries. Something about that just makes me feel for the world that little bit more, especially when I know nothing about Norwegian culture (not that I'm saying I'll get the full picture from a TV show, but you know, I feel like I'm experiencing a country). That and it's a good show with plenty going on in each episode. It introduces things that, in any other show, would be a season-wide arc, and deals with it within a couple episodes before moving onto the next. It progresses really nicely, and it's got good humour as well.

You'd LOVE Donny Brasco
Donnie Brasco is cool, one of Depp's best films probably. Best gangster films are the Pusher trilogy tho (2 being my favourite)
