YEAAAAHHHHHHHHH but im incredibly weak again. today i only managed to curl 20kg 3 sets and 10 reps.
20kg per arm isn't bad at all, especially for those sets and reps.
gym teachers suck butt I remember warning them before a bleep test that I had really really shitty asthma, but hey they were cool with forcing me to do it until I puked all over the floor
http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1262970&p=46718970&viewfull=1#post46718970 This happened to me.
Not to trializes that. But this sounds like something that happened on Home Movies. Your coach is literally Coach McGuirk.
I started going to gym too after a two week break :D Okay I know not really a huge break but its big enough to make me feel a lack of energy on my last workout compared to what I could do before :( Just didn't have any time in the last two weeks between sick, vacation and finals to go. [editline]15th December 2014[/editline]
I think what people are trying to say is that, yes, right now you want it because you like it. But later on you will most likely regret it and think "shit, i could do with an extra £500 right about now" because people mature up and you get over the whole anime and toy phase and you'll look back at it and think "was that really worth £500?" The amount of phases where i have really wanted to buy something because i liked it at the time, im so glad i didn't buy the expensive thing (like Hawkeye's vest for £105 just becasue i liked Hawkeye at the time)
Its a waste of money for sure but its not our place to judge where someone wastes money vs other wastes of money i.e. a dude who spends $5k more on a newer model of a car that really gets them nothing in the end just for the feeling of having something be the newer model is just as much of a waste of money as this, if not even more so because there is usually debt attached. If people have more money than they know what to do with, it makes it easy to part with it in that manner. Not saying its a good idea to waste money (it isn't) but spending $500 on a plush isn't much worse than a lot of other ways of wasting money if the owner gets the same amount of enjoyment with it.
I paid £500 for a plush. Don't question my spending habits. :v:
Does the plush have cupholders
my gym teacher was cool. he let me sleep in gym and do absolutely fuck all.
gym teachers suck butt I remember warning them before a bleep test that I had really really shitty asthma, but hey they were cool with forcing me to do it until I puked all over the floor
Oh god. The bleep test. Don't remind me of that horror.
I shouldn't be talking, I spent like $500 on an Airsoft gun I literally never use. Also it's not like people in this thread spent money on dumb shit [editline]15th December 2014[/editline] The Beep test was fucking trash because it was so crowded for literally no reason
WIFI ACQUIRED! Kay, the first day was pretty cool except that part where they let us sit for 1 and half hour in a bus in sweat-soaked clothes. That was not cool.
I shouldn't be talking, I spent like $500 on an Airsoft gun I literally never use. Also it's not like people in this thread spent money on dumb shit [editline]15th December 2014[/editline] The Beep test was fucking trash because it was so crowded for literally no reason
I spent nearly $800 on a DSLR. Which is even worse because it wasn't an impulsive buy (I spent a week researching and deciding if I should really upgrade), because I used to make videos and take pictures all the time. In the past 2 years since I've had it, I've maybe only used it about 10 times? [editline]15th December 2014[/editline]
He's an adorable giant. [editline]14th December 2014[/editline] Don't do online lectures, it will just encourage procrastination since you don't have to be in a classroom. I learned that the hard way this year and failed my math course because of it. But if you can do it, then go for it.
Ordinarily, I would agree. But the problem was it was 8 AM, I'm barely awake at that hour, groggy and thirsty. I retained nearly nothing from the physical lectures and ended up watching the lecture online anyway, which made me procrastinate even more because I didn't want to waste another hour sitting through the exact same lecture, and at that point, it might as well be an online course.
Of course it's no different but they're all very bad decisions. "I wanted it so I got it" is the reason people have massive credit card debt
Imo, everything you buy beyond the the bare essentials, is "i bought this because i wanted it" in some way.
We only get about 800 dollars a month to spend on shit, not counting grocery money, so spending money on anything outside the 'bare essentials' is a rarity.
At the gym, Chinese guy is wearing a hat that says "AKA WTF".
Found some cool housemates for next year today, I'm pretty happy about that. Also finished the playlist I mentioned, unfortunately I have to wait a looong time to have a tupperware 50s theme party. (I should mention I occasionally deviate from the time period if it fits in)
Hello guys. Cool to see there in a thread for gay people on here! I am gay :)
We only get about 800 dollars a month to spend on shit, not counting grocery money, so spending money on anything outside the 'bare essentials' is a rarity.
Isn't $800 spending money a month, when you don't count food, a significant amount of money
Isn't $800 spending money a month, when you don't count food, a significant amount of money
In some places a tiny ass apartment costs that much in rent.
Isn't $800 spending money a month, when you don't count food, a significant amount of money
Not really when the electricity bill can cost upwards of $200 a month, not counting the rent which is $125 a month, which actually is really low compared to most other things. And while we do get food stamps, they usually don't last that long, at least not long enough enough to feed 3 people for more than maybe 2 weeks. Trust me. It's not a whole lot of money when you count all the other expenses. By the end of the month, we usually have to end up borrowing a little bit or doing a few favors just to scrounge up enough for milk. We aren't exactly living lavishly. Not saying my situation is worse than anyone's either. I'm pretty lucky I still have access to the internet.
That's not really spending money tho. Like for me spending money is extra money after rent and shit
In that case, I should've elaborated. After bills and all that junk is paid, spending money would come down to about $400-500 dollars on average. Honestly, I'm still alive and usually have food, so it's not really that bad lol. Just can't really go spending money on tons of games or anything like that.
