Help me out here guys. I really like beards, eventually, when i'm older, i'd love a nice full beard, like a gents beard. Example: [img]http://i.imgur.com/rPhpYyG.jpg[/img] Nothing extreme as you can tell.... But the ball-and-chains doesn't want me to have it. He really doesn't like them but yet, i've always wanted a beard and he knows i've always wanted a beard but hes only just decided to tell me. Do you think its wrong and selfish of me that i should want to grow a beard even though he doesnt like them? Or do you think hes being a little selfish not caring about something i've wanted for ages?

Say it's only temporary, as an experiment. It should only take 2 months or so to grow a decent thick one.

I suppose you should ask yourself if you've ever asked your partner to look a certain way yourself. Have you ever asked them to shave their legs, say you don't want them to get tattooed or anything along those lines? If you haven't then obviously you can do as you want, though I know that I personally hate facial hair and wouldn't really want to date someone with it. Slightly vain I guess, but it's a real turn-off for me.

If I liked girly guys I could just as well be straight and go for a real woman. Manly men are much sexier imo.

I didn't tell him to grow a beard, just chose to because i said i like them. But i've put my flesh tunnels back in because he wanted me to (tbh, i didn't mind either way) and he said he'd leave me if i grew a beard.... lots of people have different tastes in both other people and things, its a true fact!!! also i feel like a partner should be supportive of their s/o's decision in making minor physical alterations such as growing out facial hair, there's really no harm in letting someone you care about do something to themselves that they [i]want[/i] to do.
