WarframeWarframeWarframeWarframeWarframeWarframeWarframeWarframeWarframe with a side of Second Life and some single player games
Second life. God that thing, I've wasted so much damn time on that garbage.
This night is a success. He's snoozing behind me in bed right now. Missed this fucker so much.
not much of a success if he's sleeping now is it

The black Friday episode was pretty funny
Computer hung and won't turn on, time to reseat everything again
I've really only heard great things about the maps from reviewers. I haven't played it long enough to give my own opinion on em, but hell, I got my copy from Gamestop on Black Friday for $25, so I don't mind too much, really, I'm sure the maps are good enough for that price.
I've played on 3 maps, and each one was some really badly designed choke points that greatly encouraged grenade spam or camping.
Wasteland 2 is looking to be quite good. Plays like Fallout 2 and it's great.
Computer hung and won't turn on, time to reseat everything again
I'm building a new one soon, I'm very excited to shop for parts with people.
Closest I've come to building a computer was replacing the graphics card. I just go the lazy way and buy prebuilts.
I love going to computer shops, especially the places where they have heaps on display to look at and test out. Although with the prices of stuff being much cheaper online, It's becoming a thing of the past for me.
Computer hung and won't turn on, time to reseat everything again
Disregard, worked fine after leaving it for a bit Which is good because reseating the RAM is a pain in the ass, you have to take the GPU out, and the release lever for it is buried under the card

Should I skip fallout 1 and just go play 2?
You only miss out on a bit of story. But if you got the time, you should play it.
How small is your case?
It's full ATX, the mobo just has the RAM in a stupid place. The locks can't open if you have something in the top PCI-E slot [t]http://imgkk.com/i/yggl.png[/t]
The game just feels kinda slow. Does FO2 improve on it at all?
And instead of having a large lever to push the PCI-E card out, there's just a tiny little hook you have to jam a screwdriver into to move, knowing that one slip could make you gouge into the motherboard [editline]13th December 2013[/editline] Vilu you mergefucker
The game just feels kinda slow. Does FO2 improve on it at all?
I felt like Fallout 2 was slower than Fallout 1. But it's probably because of that goddamn cave maze thing that you first have to endure before playing the game. I actually prefer FO1 to 2, to me the first game had a much more gripping introduction.

And to Vilusia, do you mean slow as in the turn base or progression of story? You can also speed up gameplay in options. I think. I think Fo2 story is a bit slower. But more detailed.
Closest I've come to building a computer was replacing the graphics card. I just go the lazy way and buy prebuilts.
I know it's bad, but it literally saddens me when people buy prebuilt out of lack of effort :(
I know it's bad, but it literally saddens me when people buy prebuilt out of lack of effort :(
I would build one myself if I had any sound knowledge. I'm totally out of touch with PC building in terms of what I need and what I want.

In fact Microcenter a decently well known site in the us for part has a store relatively close to me. To entice people to buy in store as opposed to online, they have crazy deals for instore customers only. I got 4th gen haswell i7 for like $270 when the next cheapest price i could find was $320 just because i went to the store in person. Even bought some mounting screws and was able to price check oem coolers in person which was lovely.
I would build one myself if I had any sound knowledge. I'm totally out of touch with PC building in terms of what I need and what I want.
Takes less effort than a lego set.
Really you don't even have to know what you're doing as its as simple as "does this fit here? no, what about here?" The most complex thing would just be hooking it all up to your psu and plugging in things like the power button, power LED, and such into your motherboard, but each mobo guide will detail it for you. Well then again now that i think about it you do have to do some research into what parts to buy, what you need, whats good and what isn't. So that part involves some knowledge or active partitipation.
I made a computer using zero computer knowledge and a website that checks for me. I bookmarked it somewhere ages ago. I sent it to a friend who knows about computer machines and he said it was ok. Here it is. Huh. It has been only a few weeks and already it's $200 cheaper. [editline]13th December 2013[/editline] By "I made a computer using zero computer knowledge" I mean I found the parts. I didn't buy nor did I actually build it.
I know it's bad, but it literally saddens me when people buy prebuilt out of lack of effort :(
Prebuilts can be typically cheaper due to parts ordered in bulk. And you don't spend hours building a PC, which isn't actually fun.
Holy shit I missed waking up really late at night. Hey, everyone. c: [editline]13th December 2013[/editline]
Prebuilts can be typically cheaper due to parts ordered in bulk. And you don't spend hours building a PC, which isn't actually fun.
I had fun building mine, even though it's not even that good :<
And you don't spend hours building a PC, which isn't actually fun.
The only reason this would be true for me is if I built it and then it just wouldn't work. If I spent 12 hours building a good computer and at the end, when I pressed the button, it turned on, I would jump up and do a dance. Which would look like this because I can't dance.
My first build took me like an hour to put together. And I had no knowledge of any of the plugs. I just followed a few diagrams and plug shapes to put it together. Now it takes me like 20 minutes at most to throw a computer together from parts and screws. I can walk you through it Rex, if you ever want help on it.
Remember to have a phone or laptop or something as a backup google device, or something you can jump on steam with for help
