I've only been on Grindr a few times, one of those times I found a guy that I knew in high school that's still closeted. All of his Facebook statuses took very different meaning after I discovered this

I personally have grown to dislike android because of its lack of security (applications can look at everything even when you tell them not to, they can also lie about what they wish to see, there's a fuckload which steal your phonebook records and send them off to some remote server), the painful point of you'll never have your device up to date and support will be dropped for it in a few months, applications are never backwards compatible and various other things. These ain't an issue on something running WP8, plus nearly all devices running 8 can update to 8.1 and the apps are backwards compatible. Honestly I just need something that can run smoothly without causing its self to explode or turn into a microwave oven like my current, have decent storage and isn't android.

My friend has a Lumia. Best phone series since 3310.

You can grab one from amazon or get one from some chinese wholesaler for even cheaper?

Gotta love my Galaxy S2, so durable and full of accessories because of its past popularity, I have replaced almost everything except the main motherboard and screen by now. Apparently I am all facepunchy now. It snowed in Berlin and Germans don't like Australians. HTC One (the first one?) Is the neatest phone! Makes all my low light pictures bright (grainy) and all my daytime pictures not as high definition as they could be. And it charges backwards sometimes so I have more excuse to do nothing today. I still love it and I am gonna hate having to get a new phone wwhich will be soon because mine has started to play up...

So, I'm going to potentially be an apprentice to a master baker. He wants me to start as soon as the 1st of Jan (though I work so it'll have to be a bit later). I'm super excited since I love to bake and I love the creativity/craft that would be involved in such a job (I'm a sculpture student after all!). This guy is also a REALLY legit baker, owns his own small business and does top quality stuff from scratch every day, so its not like I'd be working at a panera or something. But, I'd need to start getting up at 3:20AM and be ready to work my ass off for 7 hours at that time in the morning. I'm honestly not sure how well I can do that considering it was a chore getting up at 7AM for my 8AM classes last semester (half the time I was a zombie in my class too). That said, I do consider myself more of a morning person than a night owl. So maybe I could easily transition into doing that. The job also doesn't pay super good at first, which extra sucks for that shift time. But it sounds like it quickly ramps up in pay from what he's told me, once I get out of the "training wheels" phase.
