Unless you know both went bad.[/QUOTE] The CPU definitely works, but this new board doesn't have an AM2+ socket (old by now) and I wanted/needed an upgrade anyway. Old processor was an AMD 7750 dual-core 2.7 Ghz, decent for when I had it 4 years ago I suppose but I'm going to be doing more advanced things in college as time goes on, and I'll need a new CPU to do any of that. I have a parts list down but can't grab it because it's on my PC.

So just got my ModMic 3.0 in yesterday. It's pretty awesome! Quality is really good and it works pretty well at noise cancelling.

On the computer talk, I build computer/help friends picking up their parts, but for my personnal use, I buy laptops. 600$ ish dollars every 3-4 years or so ain't bad.

Allows me to be able to play games at home, at work after my shifts since I sleep there, at friends, etc. I usually buy refurbished ones too, so most of the time I save 30 to 60% on them, perfect. I just ordered a new refurb laptop yesterday(660$ shipped and taxed), as the one I'm on right now is 4 years old and getting super slow/heat sensitive.

My finished PC makes a good space heater when I overclock it. It was like 8 degrees hotter in my room after I was finished playing skyrim.
