I've found the best cure to lack of motivation is let them know they are being that way, let them know how they can fix it, and just let them figure it out for themselves. Eventually you get to the point where you are just so sick of doing nothing that you try and fix issues yourself and find the motivation to do just that. Though it might take a while.. This is assuming he's the kind of guy who knows he's unmotivated and wants to fix it but doesn't know how. If he's unmotivated and doesn't care then there's not much you can do period. Motivation is all about attitude, and if you constantly have no motivation you are either clinically depressed and need to have that getting helped with or you are living life with the completely wrong attitude out of habit and the only way you are gonna break it is if you learn the lesson "the hard way" and reach a breaking point on your own IMO.

Spent a couple hours at the guy's place, nothing of note really happened. Played some vidya, watched him play some vidya. Won't see him again until next semester. Oh well. Was still alright.

The national power distribution network is more redundant and we have more underground power cables.
