I believe most CPU's have the thermal paste pre-placed on it. [editline]20th December 2013[/editline] Or at least the heat sink does.
I was told that was the first thing I should check. It doesn't have it on it.
What kind of place did you buy it from? Every CPU I've gotten had it slapped on some part.
What kind of place did you buy it from? Every CPU I've gotten had it slapped on some part.
An Australian parts site I have used before.
No computer stores nearby? Nothing you can't run over to and make a last minute buy?
No computer stores nearby? Nothing you can't run over to and make a last minute buy?
Not this late in the day. I'll have to wait until early tomorrow, since most stores close early on Sunday, or Monday.

I recently replayed Metro 2033. Such a great game, especially on ranger mode.
Metro 2033 is great fun, but my god the stealth is horrific. I still can't sneak past the Frontline level.
Metro 2033 is great fun, but my god the stealth is horrific. I mean, LL wasn't perfect either but it worked 100x better.

You have to look for alternative paths/ wait for the npc's to perform a certain action.
I'm pretty sure my right knee is about to explode off my leg, it hurts quite a bit, like someone is continuously booting me in the kneecap, it's pretty shitty. :v:
Punch your knee in the face. Show it whose boss.
Progress has begun on my computer after it was discovered what I thought was a computer part on this heatsink thing was actually the paste i was looking for.
Progress has begun on my computer after it was discovered what I thought was a computer part on this heatsink thing was actually the paste i was looking for.
So I was right? For second I thought I just kept buying used CPUs all these years.
So I was right? For second I thought I just kept buying used CPUs all these years.
Apparently. I know nothing of computers but our old computer had white paste on it. The new one apparently has grey so I thought it was part of the bottom of the heatsink thing and I was to put the paste around it.
Happy 1 year anniversary of The Mayan Apocalypse!
Over Christmas our shop will be open until 10 oclock at night, I think I mentioned this earlier. That was fine by me, as long as the 10 oclock finishes were shared around. I got told today that I was going to have to do all of them because the other guy who closes was on holidays. This upset me, but pissed my dad the fuck off. He stormed down to the shop and told the manager I'm not doing them, and that it's unfair. Apparently it worked, because I'm getting calls asking if I don't want to do any of the 10 oclock finishes at all :v:
I'm of the minority that don't mind working holidays at all. I don't really celebrate any holidays, just another day for me really. Somehow though, despite actively saying i wouldn't mind working christmas eve day/night or christmas day/night i have never worked it in 4 years. My parents mind but quite frankly i just don't care if i work or not, even though christmas is like one of the busiest days of the year for us. [editline]21st December 2013[/editline] I should probably also clarify that at my work, you are not paid any extra for working a holiday, even christmas. The worst i've worked would just be like a thanksgiving, there was one time i took my coworkers new years eve closing shift that went until 3 am new years morning so he could be with his girlfriend and dad who i knew was dying.
Anotha gibe-away!!1! Rocketboids: Hardbutted Cocken Okay actually 8 Usefuls :v
So should I just go the giveaway with the 3 usefuls? I don't get the Disagree's purpose.. are you guys being funny or just don't want it or what

Crysis 2 is pretty fun. If I had a suit that could make me invisible/bulletproof I'd totally fuck with people.
Crysis 2 is pretty fun. If I had a suit that could make me invisible/bulletproof I'd totally fuck with people.
you take that back I pre-ordered that shit and it was the most dissappointing thing
you take that back I pre-ordered that shit and it was the most dissappointing thing
I bought it for under $20 Fun as bawls
I bought it for under $20 Fun as bawls
On release it was a buggy, crashy, 10gb waste of space that didn't have DX11 that we were promised and that didn't even have anything to protect the MP, so pirates could play MP. And they did. And they found it fun to crash the servers. Also it's a linear console based shooter that can be easily broken via the stealth mechanic. Barely worth even obtaining via illicit methods, like I wished I had done.
Well yeah, that's why I got it for cheap. Even bad games can be fun. Also another reason why I never pre-order anymore. After Mass Effect 3, never again.
crysis 1 / warhead beste (well, for the first half of the game anyway)
I actually enjoy linear corridor shooters. I really enjoyed playing Crysis 2. [editline]21st December 2013[/editline] A game doesn't need to be an open world RPG or a MOBA to be fun, guys.
I got crysis back when they had the origin bundle. Never played it though.
I just think the player character in Crysis 2 is hella cool. Overpowered, sure. Fun to be? Yes.
