Woo, got my SSD installed with windows 8 on it :D Now time to migrate my current windows install over. This is going to be a bitch and about a weeks worth of downloading, I think. Is it possible to install stuff over my current hard drives or do I need to reformat them to use them for windows 8? I.E. say I have steam installed on D:/, can I boot into windows 8, and reinstall steam in windows 8 using the same location and pretty much have everything be the same as it is now for steam? BETTER YET just plug in some king of registry thing to say that steam is there so I don't even need to run installers for everything (repeat X10000 for all my programs)?
you have to choose the right folder during install

Then you're done. I've had the same steam install for 3 different installs. also: use this http://ninite.com/

They had a beautiful website design now it looks like it was designed in '95 and looks wholly unlegit. Not to mention the fact that they're still showing screenshots using it under Windows XP. This is the most 90s site around.
This is the most 90s site around.
Don't know why, but I decided to see the page source.
<!-- Copyright 1996 Warner Bros. Online --> <!-- Badda Bing, Badda Boom -->
:v:
It was obviously designed by someone from the Sopranos.

I forgot the Sopranos was a thing. Except for that one time with Junior, that was the best thing ever.
Already beat Gunpoint. Xieneus, was it good for you too?
You guys brag about your boyfriends too much
Casually talking about experiences =/= bragging, silly.
I believe it's called humble brag.
It's a chat guys, as long you're not offending anyone you can talk about whatever. Also watched The secret life of Walter Mitty, i enjoyed it. Don't get why people were so critic.
"Hey family how about we just stay inside for today and watch movies and relax?" "NO LET'S ALL GO OUT DOWNTOWN INSTEAD" I suggested we have a relaxing day because I/we have gone out and visiting literally every day that we've been up in New York. So instead, almost the entire family decides to plan to go out to Manhattan and see the city and is forcing me to come along. And of course I get the stink eye and I get yelled at for even suggesting that I might stay back. I'm so sick of this fuckin' family and their ignorance and fighting and just everything. I am definitely never coming back up here to visit them again.
Welp I finally got back. I had to ride a train and then got out on a subway system that had thousands of people and i had a panic attack to which my father literally pointed and laughed at me saying 'look how silly he looks haha' and commented how he thinks I 'always have to start drama' (I wanted to stay home, mind you). Just before we got back we went to Target for a few groceries and he said 'y'know you were being kind of a dick the whole day in the city'. (I was still having an elongated panic attack and trying not to vomit). I hate my family.

I hope your life gets better after that shenanigans... Edit: Have a Jelly Kid.

It could do with a redesign.
Well, safe to say I've had the worst Christmas. My aunt and uncle came over on boxing day to stay until New Years, and I overheard them saying that my AML scare was probably just something I pulled for attention, and that I've faked everything thus far. Must be a pretty dedicated faker, then, since I've spent hours crying and freaking out, and why I've had to have blood tests. Fucking hate my family sometimes.
So yesterday I was playing AC 4. I occasionally checked the clock on my desktop on my other monitors and it said it was 11pm. I didn't check the minutes. Later I checked again, it was 11:12pm. I figured t couldn't be, so I alt tabbed out fully and the desktops refreshed themselves. It was 4:13am. I manahed to rack up about 730 minutes in a single session. Please help my addiction to playing pirates. Ever since that Sid Meier's pirate game, I've been hooked on pirate ship battles. [editline]28th December 2013[/editline] Also to those of you who have family issues, just keep trying to tough it out. I know how bad a family can get. But if you keep moving forward, even if they try to drag you down you can make it out. You can move out and make your life the way you want it. That's what I plan to. I'll probably cut all contact off except for one brother who is the only one like me out of my whole family line. [editline]28th December 2013[/editline] We're both basically the black sheep in the whole family. From those alive and dead, we just aren't from the same cloth.
