The pros of working in the post office doing small business banking, you get to know the managers of the local businesses in the area. Went into subway, ended up getting served by their manager, ended up talking about the office and how our times have changed, mid way through having it toasted she asks if I want a drink so I get one. Go to pay and she doesn't add it to the final cost and let me have it for free. Free drink yay.
I am Gray. And I am addicted to Subway. ;_;

I'm confused on what to do at work. They hired another person, and my hours have been cut rather brutally. That leaves me to wonder if they are wanting to force me to quit, going to fire me, or if it's temporary to get the new girl going. I don't know what to do though, it seems likely it's one of the first 2 considering the managers I work for. But should I keep working how I do now, or assume the worst and put less effort in if they are going to treat me like shit.
i swear to god all the subways in my family are all owned by 1 indian family. I'm not even making a joke, almost every subway i've been to has indians working the counter, usually it's even the same people from OTHER subways there.
Welp, I finished my second playthrough of Fable as an evil character and performed a victory slaughter of Oakvale with the Sword of Aeons. That was fun while it lasted :v:
Subway is okay. Meatball subs are the best, though.
Why is it called a subway in anyway..
Why is it called a subway in anyway..
I was told it's because the sandwich is the shape of a subway car
Are you guys for cereal no it's because the sandwiches are called Submarine Sandwiches
Are you guys for cereal no it's because the sandwiches are called Submarine Sandwiches
Upon reflection, that would make more sense
Eat fresh
Are you guys for cereal no it's because the sandwiches are called Submarine Sandwiches
So why call it Subway? Does America use old Submarines for the subway systems there or something? :v:
I can't bring my self to talk with friends much anymore on steam. I feel like all I do is annoy them or waste they're time when I do try. Mainly because all I can think of saying is Hello and How are you? I just can't think of anything better to say or ask.
Eventually a lot of online friendships/chats end up this way. It does kind of suck, but at the same time I wouldn't sweat it too much. Eventually you just run out of things to really talk about when you aren't able to do anything together except talk online. I wouldn't try and force conversation to happen. If you are good friends with someone online that you can talk to on a more private level there's probably more to talk about, especially if you game with them a lot. I know this year I met someone I was friends with online for a while. We used to chat all the time, but after a year or so that just kind of dropped off since there wasn't much to really talk about after a while without retreading the same ground, so my social relationship with him wasn't much more than a few questions here and there and following each other on twitter (twitter is really nice for this actually, keeping tabs and tweeting with online friends who you don't regularly chat online with much anymore). I got paranoid at one point that I was just irrating to him or that he didn't like me at all here and there, but when we met up in person (was attending the same event that me and my BF were), that was completely dispelled and it was really awesome to hang out, talk, have dinner, etc with him in person. Its funny because he was all "Yeah, haven't really chatted online in a while, guess you just run out of things to talk about after a while" :v: which is exactly what I was thinking. Moral of the story: keeping the conversation going online is hard! I don't really know how to do it after I've already talked a bunch with the person on the other end. I just let things slow down a bit or keep to twitter/facebook once it gets to the point where I feel like I'm forcing conversatio now. After a while you just run out of things to talk about. And there's nothing wrong with that, they probably still really like talking with you. But it does suck when its like that when you want to talk!
So why call it Subway? Does America use old Submarines for the subway systems there or something? :v:
We usually just shorten it to subs cuz we don't like to use big words. And Subway is a catchy name :v:
Breaking news everyone in the gay thread likes a good sub
Lack of face-to-face socialisation getting to me, going mad.
