Why?

Really dumb personal reasons that I won't elaborate upon.

Shrimp or lobster? Delicious.
Basically underwater insects when you think about it.
I'm noticing a slight influx of ass related avatars.
But I'm not complaining.
Basically underwater insects when you think about it.
I'd say "bugs" would be a more accurate description.
"Insects" still refers to six-legged critters.

Lobsters are just evolved, water-type versions of scorpions.
-snip, some ramble-
A thing called aspik, it's like jelly, but with pieces of meat inside.. like ham and stuff.. sometimes boiled eggs.. the texture is disgusting..
I've had one that was lime gelatin mixed with tomato juice, with small pieces of shrimp and celery inside and it was actually really fantastic. Probably the weirdest food idea ever though.
Aspik is typically used as garnish, anyway. Most people don't actually eat it.
I'm late but I must say Indian food is the best
I prefer to eat energy from the Sun so I can blossom into a pretty flower.

Not around here..
Not around here..
Most cooks use it for garnish because like you said, it's so weird. Some people of course do get it as a meal, but it's not as common.

It's a freaking specialty around here, served in full meals for many in one part of the country..

They must really like Jell-O over there...
that place reminds me of charlies. Those sandwiches are okay but honestly it bothers me that they all use that kind of bread.
Where i'm from the bread is usually more important than the inside and that's not a joke. For some reason we take the rolls really seriously, probably because the bread can make all the difference.
The bread is pretty good actually, they bake it right in the store. I mean, its not anything amazing but its pretty nice.
I find it funny they bill themselves as east coast subs but they originated from here in Ohio and have only expanded to a dozen or so neighboring states. None of the folks I know who actually live on the east coast has heard of em :v:
I prefer Japanese food to Chinese food.
Chinese cooks tend to have a habit of putting way too much garlic or ginger on EVERYTHING.
Urgh, I used to be able to work out without any problems, but after not working out for a while and picking back up again my abs and legs are sore as fuck.
Been a while since I was in here, how are y'all?
How bad is it to wear magnification glasses all the time when you don't need them?
Been good, just went out taking photos of the bay, smoky as hell because of a fire
Most entertaining bit was taking a photo of two crabs fighting
Polish food is the best.
If only one could be a glutton.
Staying true to my roots I love spanish/chilean cuisine.
Mmm, pulpo relleno.
But sushi is nice.

You may permanently damage your vision.
I've started to lose my eyesight badly in my right eye. I ought to get glasses but then I might look like a nerd.
You may permanently damage your vision.
Source?
[editline]5th January 2014[/editline]
They're not perscription glasses, by the way.
You may permanently damage your vision.
I thought the reading glasses thing was a myth, not sure about 'magnification glasses'.
[editline]5th January 2014[/editline]
welp
[editline]5th January 2014[/editline]
Yeah I've also heard that prolonged use of any eyewear that alters your perception can cause eye strain and damage your vision.
They're reading glasses. I wear them because I like a lens between me and the world and sunglasses get you too many funny looks.
