Yeah well, several weeks of -30 and +30, a few days of -40 and +40. For all we have to remember at the end of day, is that it's both extremes.

Applied for a job 15 hours ago, scored myself an interview already. If I get this, I'll easily be able to make it on my travels this year.

Filled out an application online, apparently got an email 15 minutes later with the interviewer asking me if I've had a job before. That can't be good :c

I've applied at like 50 places in real life and sent out over a hundred emails. Only ever got 2 emails back, one months later saying no and the other being an automated response with a no.

I hate how so many jobs don't have the decency to tell you if you have scored an interview or not. Even if it was just an automated thing sent out to the people they didn't take in, it would be nice to know.

You pretty much have to know someone working to get a job now.

I'm enjoying this historic cold weather with a toasty room and a big breakfast! I have no reason to venture out for the next two days, though I might go outside JUST to feel the weather. Also the snow here is lame as usual. We only got an inch or two.

If it hurts to me and someone says "That doesn't hurt", I'll tell them otherwise. It may not hurt to them, but it does to me, so saying that it doesn't hurt to ME when it actually does to ME is just grrrr
