I have decided that as much as I like that guy that I am always going on about and bought him a $60 lighter, he intimidates me a bit. Not like, bullying and forcing me to do things, but just his outgoing personality and stuff like the fact that his job is trading currencies and yet he only just turned 19 (basically too perfect [read: way out of my league]). I am almost certain he doesn't much care for me beyond our current relationship (see each other once every two-three months and talk on Facebook once every two-three weeks) and as a result if he is really interested in me at all, he can come to me, not the other way around. He won't even notice the fact that I'm ignoring him.
I've been having some crazy ass dreams lately.
Crazy-ass dreams or crazy ass-dreams?
My last dream involved me lying in bed while the phone rang, I was fully capable of getting up to answer it but I just couldn't be fucked getting out of bed to do it, then I woke up for real I'm not sure if it was a dream, but that phone was ringing for ages :v:
I had a dream about Mann vs Machine from TF2 tonight actually. I just ran around twatting everything with a Sledgehammer :v:
Ohh i never noticed we had a gay chat here before :o
Is it just me or has this thread been much more active than the last?

Only dreams I've had recently are annoyingly sad. I miss my dream I had about saving puppies from systematic persecution by the UK government.
I want purple walls.
I want purple walls.
Am I the only one who does nothing to celebrate Thanksgiving? There's seriously about a 90% chance I'm going to sit in my room and play games and browse the webs as per usual. :p
I have nice dreams, twice in a row cool dreams in my city or in mountains with my lovely boyfriend.
Am I the only one who does nothing to celebrate Thanksgiving?
Since hearing Gran Turismo 6 was being released on the PS3, my urge to get a next gen console has dropped almost entirely. I mean the PlayStation series has lots of redeeming titles but the only ones I'm interested in are Gran Turismo and Ratchet and Clank, and well as badass as Ratchet and Clank is I'm not 12 anymore
Are you saying experiencing radness has an age limit? With an attitude like that you might as well be 12. Ratchet & Clank rules. (that's how I read your post anyway, I wasn't sure really whether you're saying you don't want to get another Playstation or if you're not wanting to even get a PS3. So forgive me in advance)

Guess my dreams are telling me how to decide. :v:

I've manually focused with lenses that have af and the AF points would light up if it thinks that particular point is in focus. I use center focus a lot anyways. Don't zoom in, pull focus then zoom out. The lenses are probably not parfocal
Apologies for bringing this one back but I just got round to watching the Day of the Doctor. It was pretty awesome. :v:

Also this is one reason why I'm going mirrorless with an EVF, you get focus peaking, virtual split image and can zoom into 100% in the viewfinder. All these make manual focusing very fast and very accurate (you can argue that it makes focusing more accurate since you know exactly what is in focus and you can judge what should be in focus better than the camera). Some of the best modern lenses are manual focus so I think manual focus is going to get popular again some time soon. Mirror less evf uses battery. There goes my battery life.

Most annoying thing for me personally is that John Hurt totally reminds me of my friend's dad, but I can't mention that to him now because he's dead. Which is a convenient bridge to me mentioning that people are bastards and none moreso than the press. After the inquest into his death and the subsequent press explosion, his parents have been getting nasty scathing comments and phone calls, as well as his friends who he was on Skype with when he died (mostly comments like why they didn't catch on sooner and shit like that). Most irritating thing is finding out this one cruel trick the Daily Mail used on his parents; they made a purposefully inaccurate and misrepresentative article on his death, and proceeded to write to his parents apologising "for factual inaccuracies" and then asking them for any comments of their own to get their facts straight. Just so they can get a unique quote of their own to use. They reported that he "dealt drugs" at his old school and that's why he was expelled, but he was actually expelled for offering some to a friend on school grounds. They also got the drugs and amounts wrong, leading people to question his intelligence in the comments when really he was doing a reasonable amount. Purposeful manipulation of information to rouse people up. So yeah, the press is bad. People in the comments section getting off on their lack of understanding and false sense of superiority are also bad. Comments are just always bad, and a lot of people are really ignorant. I want someone irl to say one wrong thing so that I can throttle them with all my worldly frustration. If I could have a word in edgeways with the press I'd tell all kinds of ridiculous lies about what he did and what kind of person he was. Keep his post-life legacy totally ridiculous.
