Kinda defeats the purpose of ignoring, huh? But eh. Keep on, I suppose.

That looked like a bread loaf out of the corner of my eye.
there's only about ten bucks worth of copper there so I have no idea how people make money stealing wiring
You'd be surprised at how much copper pipes and wires can net. a 6" bed with some loose pipes and stuff, not even full, netted around 153$ at work at some point. There was barely any copper in that.
How? A quick google tells me that current copper prices are only $3.30/lb. Is there something about scrap that makes it worth more than just a block of copper straight out of a smelter?

I have no ideas, but it was just old copper piping, old truck radiator and some wires, took like 10 mins to load in the truck and it was 153$.
There needs to be a 'Do Not E-Mail' list that all companies need to abide with.
There needs to be a 'Do Not E-Mail' list that all companies need to abide with.
Just unsubscribe from shit emails if you keep getting them If they're actual random spam, they'll almost always get picked up by the filter anyway
Just unsubscribe from shit emails if you keep getting them If they're actual random spam, they'll almost always get picked up by the filter anyway
Problem is, Avon is now pissed and trying to subscribe me to stuff that's getting past the filter.
spam filters learn over time, just mark stuff that gets through as spam
Gonna stop talking about the whole thing now in spite of advice unless it really gets out of hand.

Is freelance mining and smithing an actual THING?... or am I letting years of playing RPG's get ahead of logic. I've always sorta found iron-age metal working fascinating.

School timeeee. I gotta get used to waking up early again x.x
Get back to Perth, check my emails on my phone and there is an email from the place I was supposed to have a job interview with tomorrow, saying that they have cancelled the interview for the foreseeable future. I was so fucking pissed, I came back from Melbourne early, let my friend down by not being his co-driver for the drive back to Perth, in which I had told them I was leaving Melbourne early and letting my friend down, just so I could come to the interview. Then they pull this shit when they know I would've just left. It took me three months to score this interview, I was excited about coming to Melbourne for longer than that. I don't really think words can describe just how pissed off I am about it.. /rant
:c That sucks. What was the interview for?
It was an IT support role, full-time, paying pretty well as well.
There should be some universal law where a Company has to at least notify you in SOME way that you did or didn't get even a chance for a good job.
Aw, I missed the avatar discussion. I have my current one because Bubble Man is a sexy beast.
Wow. As soon as I got on Steam this morning, someone immediately messaged me telling me they were thinking about suicide. Thankfully, I think I talked him out of it. I wish people didn't rely on me to help with serious emotional problems so much. I'm glad to sit down and talk with them about shit that's going on, but it's a lot of pressure when it's something potentially serious like THAT. They'd be better off consulting an actual professional. Took the life outta me.

The thing is that I've done this a few times before. Never gets any easier. I'm just scared that I'll run out of things to say to help them with and that...yeah.
Aw, I missed the avatar discussion. I have my current one because Bubble Man is a sexy beast.
Discussion is irrelevant. My avatar is the superiour.
The thing is that I've done this a few times before. Never gets any easier. Tell that person you really want to help and you can talk to them but this isn't something you can handle but these people can help.
Probably will do that next time it comes up. The best to help is to refer them to someone who's better qualified.
Probably will do that next time it comes up.
Discussion is irrelevant. My avatar is the superiour.
Ahem
The problem is with trust.. when you get to the point of thinking in that direction.. you'd reather talk to someone whom you trust more than a random person.. even if they're a professional.. thats my opinion atleast..
That's sort of what I was thinking. I can definitely understand why they'd rather go to someone who actually knows them instead of some person talking over a phone. But they'll have to trust me enough to understand that there are just some things that I can't do or things that are way above what I can do. It simply gets harder and harder each time. I genuinely want to help, but I'm afraid that I'll have less to say the more it happens.
