Drawing can take a lot of practice, it's not always a talent you're "born" with.
Yup. Anybody can become a good artist. It just takes a lot of effort and patience.
Yup. Anybody can become a good artist. It just takes a lot of effort and patience.
May not be something you're ALWAYS born with but it definitely makes a difference. I tried from like elementary school until halfway through high school to be able to draw. Tried like half a dozen 'styles', tried drawing, painting and using computer programs and I could never even manage to draw a cat that didn't look like a demon rat-coon-liz-alien thing or even a guy that didn't look like a 10 year old trying to draw anime. (which I was 15 trying to draw anime.. lol) I had artist friends and tried to practice but I just could never draw, which sucked because I had such cool (in my opinion) visions of things to draw and that I wanted to see come to life. I gave up since high school but I'd love to be able to draw.

You gotta be persistent about it and fill an entire NOTEBOOK per day.
You can become good at anything with practice, but it does help a fuckton when you're inclined to a discipline/kind of work beforehand. I can't draw, but I can disassemble a whole engine and re-assemble it, never had any class in that. :v:
Try other kinds of art? Plenty more mediums than drawing to express yourself.
but, i like it??? im just saying i started practicing again because the rad friend i get inspo from is helpin me also im a former musician so i AM good at a few instruments but i dont really enjoy it
Spent about 330 bucks on textbooks this semester. I wish I'd learned to rent used before now. Last semester cost me over 900, eating through half of my refund check.

I strum a guitar and wail into a microphone. I feel like I've been here before.
I've tried a ton of things, I never seem to be good at anything, nor do I ever seem to improve at what I try. Except shooting games.. yeah.. that's about all I'm good at.
I just wish I could draw well, because I really don't :v:
Speaking of the military, I joined a DnD game with like 6 Air Force guys, and one other who isn't. It's loads of fun. Also, if y'all join the Air Force and on the off chance you get assigned to Offutt AFB, hit me up!
Damn, I used to live on Offutt when I was a kid before my dad left the AF. Too bad I don't live closer to Omaha. All because I can't think clearly so it makes concentration literally impossible. I have a feeling it has something to do with chronic dehydration or some shit because I'm always thirsty. And its most likely not diabetes as I already had blood tests for that. Probably should see a doctor again.
I fucking hate some of the fucking idiots on my college course, one of them today decided to snort a line of table salt while another recorded it on his phone; bear in mind this was during the lesson. He then went on to sniff the backs of the monitors to find to him it smelled like weed. Help.

Called it "doin' the peanut". I don't even know.

Seems like they just don't care, oh well.

Like how stupid do you have to be.
Thankfully in most colleges most idiots tend to drop out after the first year.
Yeah, most of them are first year students. Although this is UK college we're talking about here (pretty much high school in terms of age and shit), so they'll probably stick around for the second year of the course.

Yay got an haircut, was about time.
I need a haircut too or else my narutal jerrycurls will begin showing again. This is after I combed it and it still looks messy as heck [editline]15th January 2014[/editline] Oh god. I wonder what I would look like with a hair straightener

I have really dry skin. Whenever I shower my nose kinda 'sheds' and becomes all rudolphy.
I have really dry skin. Whenever I shower my nose kinda 'sheds' and becomes all rudolphy.
Take colder showers.
Like REALLY dry skin. My nose and forehead begins peeling like an hour after I get out of the shower. It really bugs me and I wish there was some sort of medicine for it.
Like REALLY dry skin. My nose and forehead begins peeling like an hour after I get out of the shower. And you're likely suffering from an extreme variant of what people call greasy T zone which is causing your skin to dry out so much. So look into some facial cleansing products and try them out, what you want to do is ensure you can keep your skin hydrated. Another thing you can do is drink more water. If you're gonna try out moisturisers I recommend getting a mild one which has no alcohol or perfumes in it and if you can, make sure its thick. Normally the cheaper brand ones are best for this. What you're gonna wanna do is basically after you've had a shower, make sure the skin that's lifting is removed, use the cleansing products for this so stuff like wipes and even those shower gels which have little grains in them which help loosen stuff in your pores are great for this. After that's done make sure your skin is still damp, when I say damp I mean not wet but basically patted dry by a towel but you can still feel dampness, it's hard to explain but you know the feeling when its there, basically when you're at that stage apply the moisturiser as you're looking to keep the water in your skin. Also if you're not sure if the moisturiser is thick enough, a simple test is to put some in the palm of your hand and flip your hand over. If it runs or drips, it's not thick enough. Or alternatively you're just using something which is doing the exact opposite and you're removing all you're skins protective oils and thus no water can be trapped so skin dries and dies.
