I have little to no accent as I come from a boring section of England.

Maybe he loves his accent but he doesn't want to admit in english because we'd understand and he left out the word accent in that sentence just to keep us guessing! Or he meant something else. I liked my first explanation more though.

If they're ever doing a drug they're not sure about how it'd effect them or if they plan on taking a large dose of something, they literally always make sure there's at minimal 1 completely sober person in the room. I was the chaperone for when my friend made mescaline, that was a rather boring day.

Unless the person had just taken one massive dose at once.
