Holy shit it is.

It is.
I accidentally was given an 18+ badge so I said fuck it, and watched people play it at the panel. Besides the whole... entire game, it looks pretty fun to play. I honestly doubt that people jerk off to this game; everyone was laughing their asses off when they were playing it.
Oh yeah, and I tweeted at one of the artists who made a card and they replied back. Cool stuff.

I must add going to a convention to the bucket list just so I can meet the colorful characters that come by.
This is even the reason why I want to go to the city because we rarely see any interesting characters and I think living in the city will up the chances.

My social spaghetti instantly disappeared after a few hours at the con. I even managed to have a long ass conversation with the guy who showed up to the rave wearing nothing but shortshorts, a fanny pack for his phone, and sandals.
There were only a few straight up weirdos there, but they didn't ruin my fun to the point where they'd be worth talking about.
I don't have any anti-theft thing on my phones, I just keep them in my pocket and if someone dares try to pickpocket it, chances are I'll have manslaughter on my records.
That works too because I tend to give the vibe for that to people.
Have you seen those professional con artist people or whatever though? Just because it's in your pocket doesn't mean you'll notice it when it gets taken.
It's so frightening to see how many of my FB friends share this pic

I prefer this one

The weight of my phone/wallet and the friction in most pants is enough for me to notice. I don't have super baggy pants where everything floats in the pockets, everything fits snuggly in them.
Not that there's those kind of guys here though, so they aren't an issue to me, even if you say a shitload of "But if/what if", I'm not you and if you notice, those professionals knows who to pick and usually picks who's the most likely to be an easy victim. I'm a bit paranoid in the way that if someone comes too close without me knowing them I consider them a possible threat. Good luck getting behind me without me noticing! I also tend to stick my hands in my pocket in places where there are too many people and some look shaddy, never take public transit either (I have a car, fuck buses.) Call me weird if you wish, or stupid even, but I really REALLY hate when someone I know nothing off gets in an uncomfortable radius of me.
No ideas where that comes from though, I begun doing so all the way back in highschool.
This is a good lesson to you guys too, though. A lot of you may already know this, though.
Even if you're in a super friendly environment, like a sectioned off room with like 10 guys all enjoying stuff together, don't take your eyes off your shit for an INSTANT, no matter how nice they are. I got careless and somebody took the opportunity to steal my shit. Please don't let this happen to you.

What if!
Yeah I just wanted to mention the cool pick pocket people who can take people's ties and glasses without noticing.
Though they tend to do that to older people rather than younger who are probably more adept at noticing their glasses are no longer on their face.
I tend to notice what I have on me quite easily, I mean, my wallet is in my pocket, the cellphone in another, my ballistic case is so thick and rubbery that the friction alone would give it away, my cellphone, well, it's thick enough to make me want eager to take it off at home, so it would be hard to pull out without noticing. I always keep my car keys in my hands (Mainly because of the touchy remote start.)
Add a bit of paranoia to it, or a bit of unneeded aggressivity or whatever, near-impossible, I'm like, very protective of my goods. Specially expensive cellphone and the thing that happen to hold all of my important cards.
Albeit that's unrelated and those professional pickpockets who just do it in shows/stand up/magic tricks are pretty cool and talented, plus it's always nice seeing people who have talents that could be shaddy, using them in a cool/good way and entertain people.
most thefts like that are thefts of opportunity anyway
its more common to just swiftly swipe something off a table while someone's in the bathroom than go to the trouble of pickpocketing someone
I've never had anything stolen off of me. I've lost things though that really ticked me off.
I lost my zippo about a month ago while heading to my friend's apartment, fell out of my pocket sometime between me being on a bus, riding on a train, and right before getting onto a trolly. It really pissed me off because it was a 12 year old zippo and i absolutely hate using normal disposable lighters.
But yeah i always hang on closely to my stuff, keep it out of sight too and i don't even let it leave my hand unless i'm at a close friend's place.

I still need to figure out why my Zippo won't work, it takes about 50 tries to make it light
I don't even smoke, I just like those big metal lighters, and the sound they make :v:
I lost a camera at comic con on the last day of 4 days.
So all my photos for that year was lost.
I also believe someone stole my ipod touch out of my car, the one night I forgot to lock it.

I have a few, and noticed some of the lesser quality ones tend to lose fuel some how. Like it dries up or dissipates.

Apparently you can fix it by wrapping a thick rubber band around the rim while it's closed, but it can't be that. Mine won't work even when it's freshly filled, and soaked in lighter fluid

Bad flint? Bad scrapper? Do you get a spark at all? Maybe the wick isn't soaking up any fluid.

You don't know fear until you wake up to this.
Pic too dark I can't be scared by that
The pic isn't dark. That's exactly how it looks like right now. He's been sitting there motionless for like 15 minutes.
I wish when I'm trying to get back to sleep at 7 in the morning that my dog wouldn't keep coming back into my room everytime I get her out.
I just wanted to sleep for longer dog is that too much to ask of you :v:

"Get the fuck up and feed me"
You should of seen the look he gave me when I said "Feed yourself"
Cats have no respect man.. Time to go feed him.
I went to AnimateMiami yesterday and it was pretty cool even though we got there late.
Saw John DiMaggio and Max (hotDiggedyDemon).

Max is a really cool guy. Been friends with him on steam for little over a year.
In other news; A couple of irregular naps have killed my perception of time and left my brain 100% sure that it's still 8 AM.
My brain says good morning.

We used to talk on AIM like every other day but then he stopped using AIM. This was also around the time he got suuuuuper famous with the pony.mov series' start.
He actually said he'd give my voice reel a listen if I ever sent it to him but I keep delaying making one because I'm lazy and I don't think it's good now that someone will actually listen to it lol.
edit: hi brain
I didnt sleep last night at allll :CCCCCCCCCCC
I couldn't sleep either, this feels like the third night in a row that I could not stay still while trying to sleep.
Sleepness nights are the worst.
I've only ever had one about a year ago but it was not a fun experience.
So, you guys have experience with stolen shit like this?
None of my accounts seem to be affected but I'm going to change all my passwords and shit. So glad I got insurance on this thing, but it suuuuucks that I gotta buy a new case and SD card and I also lost like 200 pictures.
[editline]19th January 2014[/editline]
I don't want to dwell on it too much, though. I'm getting it replaced no problem, and I don't want a minor (albeit significant??) event to ruin my experience with my first convention.
Even if you guys aren't furries you should totally check out cons like this. There were plenty of panels for cool not-furry shit, a cool room to play games that you shouldn't go to because you'll get your phone jacked, incredibly nice, and supportive artists...
It's better than big anime cons like anime expo because they're not as... segmented. Like, two fans of anime could absolutely hate each other, but with furries that's less prevalent. There were a lot of tables in the dealer's den for non-furry stuff, too, like, this one artists sold me an Attack on Titan print, and another sold me a Deathstroke/Deadpool print. Shit's awesome.
Like, seriously, if there's any conventions within a few hours of you, go. Hella worth. I thought I wouldn't enjoy it that much but I did, even with the loss of my phone!
There's options to back up photos through wifi or 3G the second after you take a photo or video automatically. Dropbox and Google+ has auto back up for photos and possibly videos.
Assuming you have a pass code of some sort, whoever stole it won't have access to any apps so they can't see our sms, emails, contact, etc. They will however can read off your sd card and whatever is on it. If in the camera app settings you selected the stuff to be saved on the sd card instead of phone memory, your 200 or so photos will be on the sd card. Everything else on the card probably isn't too important.
Take a look out for photos and videos from the game room you were in that were taken when the phone was charging. Chances are there might be a photo or video of whoever stole it. It sucks indeed.
Anyways I've been to various cons in Toronto. Fan expo is like comic con. Lots of people walking around, taking the escalators. Essentially it was escalator con. People say fan expo is too big as it was pretty crowded everywhere. Smaller cons like anime north was a lot more fun for me. Even if smaller cons like atomic lollipop and unplugged was also pretty fun.
Cons in general are fun, I always enjoy taking tons of photos and videos and make something out of it. I plan to go to more in the future. Even to ones just to see how it is.
I've volunteered at some cons and became staff in another. It would be awesome idea to buy the sponsor con badge or similar just to support the Con.
Also how's the post con depression...
Only nights I get sleepless on are the hot nights we have. 30c at 2am, yeah no way in hell am I sleeping in that.
